Not for my use though. I bought this to plug into my car stereo's usb so I didn't have a long thumb drive sticking out and getting busted. I can transfer and move files that I need and even move files from my tablet or phone. However, it will not plug and play tunes in a radio. So I just put the files back on the old one and it's fine, this one is lost in a drawer somewhere now...

Posted .Hi, please be informed that all the USB Drives of 64GB capacity and above are pre-formatted in the exFAT File System which is not supported by most of the car stereos. In this case, formatting the USB Drive in the FAT32 File System should make your USB Drive work in your car stereo. Can't do this because product requires me to first download their app. If I had room for an app, I wudnt need the devices. Bought 3 almost identical items in 2021, none required me to download their app.

Alternatively, you can also check out our USB Drives with a USB Type-C connector which you would be able to directly connect to your MacBook.
