Fast Drive does the trick. Amazing in speed and works with a lower power consumption. Great drive and very quiet. Same quality as those over priced Samsung.

Well I bought the SSD to replace my hard drive on my laptop. Worked like a dream, well I mean as long as you know how to partition a drive. I got it cheap during the sale for around $200, which I am kicking myself for because Samsung SSD are only $26 more last time I checked. Although still a solid drive (haha see what I did there).

I wanted to indulge on upload speeds and decided to dedicate 1TB of my favorite games into an external SSD. I purchased a SATA adaptor and loaded my favorite titles. Every other game I have lives on a separate 2TB HDD. While its not entirely noticeable due to the fact that I've been gaming since the 80s and had to physically put a game into a console, you will benefit with load times for huge titles like GTA V. My recent purchase of Red Dead 2 loads pretty quick. You're basically saving about half the time to load a game. Consider external SSD an indulgence for gaming consoles as PS4 and XBOX 1 do not support the full potential of SSD speeds but its a lot better than stock drives. Wait around the holidays, Black Friday etc. to purchase. The cheapest you could pay for is 1TB $120. The max you should pay should be no more than $150 for 1TB.

The laptop's original spinning disk quit working, so I bought this to replace it. After reloading Windows on the laptop, I see that it is much faster. It works great and I've had no problems with this unit. You have to be confident in opening up your laptop and careful with all the various little screws that are involved. It's a good idea to find a video of how to replace a disk drive in your laptop or computer so you know what is involved before you go in. You should have a plan to back up your data before replacing the old disk because it's not really possible once you remove the old one.

I got this for my PS4 Pro. before I installed it I timed a bunch of games to test startup times. It reduced all games by 10%-25% for startup which was okay. The drive really shines in loading data from disks and load times within games (single player since online depends on remote servers). A few truly noticable changes were in Witcher 3 and XCOM 2. XCOM has insane load times between levels where I would actually watch youtube for 2 at a time. With this better drive, I don't worry about these load times anymore as they are only about 15-20 seconds now. Great for Single player games! Okay for online games.

I could hardly believe it a 1 terabyte SSD drive for just over $100.00, so I scoffed it up and had them install it in my Pavillian laptop. I couldn't believe the performance improvement as using it as my C: boot drive. I used to drink a cup of coffee waiting for it to boot. Bow it is up and running before I can get back to my desk with it. Nice to be able to read the news while sipping instead of waiting for it to load.

This was a great purchase. Speeds up my computer so much better than my 1T hard drive and it's priced right also!

A 1TB SSD drive is very nice to have to store all your important files and carry it with you. I formatted it an Ex-Fat so it can be used in either a Mac OS or Windows10. Now I don't have to worry about dropping it and loosing all my data. I just have to make sure i don't sit on it and break it in pieces!

The SanDisk SSD works fine and is very fast. Great value.

A great option for upgrading internal storage for laptop. Be sure to check the laptop is expandable and the user is knowledge with performing the expansion or seek a professional for advice/assistance before buying. Unfortunately, I had to returned the purchase.

Replaced a spindle-style hard disk drive with this solid state unit and the laptop boots up much faster. With no moving parts, it should last longer than the spinning disk drives. The 1TB capacity allows plenty of room for storing digital files, but it's good practice to back up the drive because you never know what could happen.

Put it into my 5 year old laptop, now it feels like new! Had to clone it twice: first time tried on the targeted computer with source disk and it crashed on booting. Had to take it out and cloned it on a different computer and it worked!

Drive working with no issues.. Needed to clone my older Sandisk 512GB to this one - but no good software.. Western Digital ?owns? them now = still no good software. The free software available wouldn't Span to the whole partition. So, it wanted to create multiple partitions.. BOOHiSS So had to find better "free" software to use the whole 1TB as 1 partition.. Otherwise - still working, 24-7

I can't believe the difference this SSD Drive made in the performance of my PC. It boots at least 10 times faster than before, and all the programs work quicker as well Great Product and comes with a Utility Program you can download for free

Bought for my Dell all in one going from a HDD to an SSD is a huge boost in performance. Took about 10 minutes to transfer info and operating system from old HDD. System is blazing fast now.

Upgraded my five year old laptop. Now the laptop works like charm! Got a defective one at the first. But bestbuy replaced it for me. Which is great for having a local store.

Since I replaced my hard drive on my laptop, it is like I have a brand new laptop. So quick to start up and responsive. Glad I did this instead of buying a new laptop!
