I went back and got it again on sale. No issues in almost 8 months, and fast as ever. I do think waiting for a sale is best.

Great Drive and a Great Geek Squad

Best Buy recommended this drive and I'm amazed at its speed and quietness. I feel like I got a whole new computer. The Geek Squad did a great job of saving everything, doing a quality install and working to get me the best drive for the money.

Good speeds and good value when it’s on sale for $100 or less. It’s DRAMless so be wary if you are all about performance and large files transfers.

If you have or had one of these you know the agony of the stock spinning HD. Used to use a USB 3.0 drive till it burned up on the circuit board, not planning on going back to that route as that will possibly damage the data.
