Plug and play on my Thinkpad. I keep my virtual machines on it and it really speeds them up. Only problem I had was copying stuff over from the 250Gb I replaced. I bought a USB case for the old one as there wasn't room on the hard drive. I run Linux, but presumably it works for other OS too.

I have 2 of these in my system and they work great, they don't get hot

Great value! honestly it doesnt have the newest tech in regards for m.2 drives but its still leaps and bounds better than a ssd. My old Adata ssd always ran up to 100% utilization but with this drive it never goes above 20%. May not be the best drive for people that need to copy and move big files but for gaming and normal use its more than capable.
