Great Value 1TB fast SSD

It's fast and reliable with very good read and write speeds. I got it on sale and it does the job. I trust SanDisk with their memory cards for my phones, so this was a no brainer when it came to the M.2 drive.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this as a second drive to hold all my Steam games and it's as fast my primary boot drive's PCI E Gen 4 speed Samsung 980 Pro. Although the read/write speed is about 1000 megabytes per second slower than the competitor's PCI E Gen 3 NVME SSDs, you have to realize it's still 5x faster than a conventional 2.5" SSD connected through a SATA cable and you will never reach the top speed anyway for basic tasks. It also doesn't generate much heat, so a heatsink is optional. Would recommend!
