I had a 500GB drive in there already, but this came up on sale and for the price I couldn't pass it up. Works well, I have no issues at all with compatibility or speed. It is in a USB C enclosure so it's file copy times are outstanding. No noticeable heat build up during use either, the little heat sink in the enclosure seems to do just fine with this drive.

This significantly speeds things up compared to trying to run anything off a hard disk. The only downside to the unit as I recall was there was little to no guidance included as to how to duplicate existing information, format the disk, etc. Fortunately, I have plenty of experience doing that so find some free tools on the web and off we go. The other issue which was more significant is that it does not include the screws to attach it to the motherboard at the M.2 slot. I had to dig quite a bit to find a screw that small to anchor the stick. Since this is pretty much a standard I would think that it would come with the screw necessary to affix it to the board. The cost is negligible but the inconvenience is significant if you do not have or cannot find a screw that fits you motherboard!

Great update to my Lenovo ThinkPad L390 Yoga

I knew I would soon need to get larger storage for all of my technical files but didn't want to pay Lenovo prices for a 1TB. I was able to physically install this very easily. It didn't come with any cloning software, so that part was a bit tricky since it's not my area of expertise. It's been working great for 8 months now.

Better speeds, takes up less space. Definitely recommend this product! Just make sure to Youtube some videos on how to get your computer to recognize this device in your disk management menu

After testing I found its read and writes were more than 2x faster than my samsung evo ssd. If you have the M.2 slots to spare I would recommend grabbing some for this price. After you install it all you have to do is format it and it’s good to go. I have only been using it for about a week but no trouble so far.

Very nice ROM drive

Installation was quick. Little disappointing that it didn't come with a screw for securing it inside my computer right out of the box. Had to buy one separate and wait 2 days for delivery. Otherwise I'd say good for the green light!

Great Performance / Great Value (If it's on sale)

It was practically night and day. If you can grab this on sale (I think I got it for $95-100), this is totally worth trying.
