Great for use as an external SSD

The enclosure uses a usb-c and I am able to get transfer speeds of ~900 mb/s so it makes copying over my entire internal SSD a flash compared to SATA SSD's.

I got help from a older person the person that was recommend as a geek was way off in what he told me and did not know anything about the new computer I got maybe a month before from best buy. Actual usable memory fluctuates (it's never a true 1024GB), but the usable space on this one was 913? a 10% variation is not really what I would call an acceptable margin. That being said, works as advertised, happy with the performance, and not really worried in the end. Still...

Using it in my VR gaming computer and it works great! Would prefer it be a different color, but that's a minor drawback.

Install was pretty straightforward with some help from Google. Also, if you plan on using this for a Apple product, you will need an adapter. Just google it and you’ll find it.

Now it's in my elitedesk mini and it works well.

Spending a couple of more $$ can get a pcie gen 4 SSD, with much more faster speeds. But if you really are on budget and need a SSD this will work. just don’t expect it to be the fastest.

Cheap Price, not so cheap quality

Definitely worth the time to open the chassis if you have the skills
