    Much faster than a traditional spinning hard drive. We've upgraded many PC with SSDs like this and it will make your old PC perform much better than it ever has extending it's life for years. 1TB more storage than most people need, but also 1TB drives are faster than 240GB SSDs but both are really fast.

    This disk is not recognized by any Apple device or by a Linux computer either. On a PC it requires that the user install an app and is not accessible without it. Other programs cannot access the data on the device making it practically useless for data storage and access.

    I believe it backed up my files but, when the Geek Squad tried to reinstall my files, when my hard drive died on my desktop computer, they found that it was incompatible and they couldn’t restore the files. They were able to restore some things .
