I upgraded my laptop hard drive to this ssd and I'm really impressed with the improved performance of my laptop. Restarts take seconds, apps open up immediately as well as my browser. With my old hard drive it was a waiting game sometimes taking minutes to do simple tasks now things operate almost instantaneously. I liked it so much I bought another and put it in my girlfriends laptop. Such a great value too!

Black Friday in July where the price went down to $170. What a value! I upgraded using my 8 year old PC and it boots up really fast. Most office computing the bottleneck is either RAM or hard drive. This device with plenty of storage is a huge boost for older PCs. Operating system boots so quickly. It’s like viagra to older machines :)

I have never experienced a slow running computer. I mean slow that took the “s” out of slow and made it super “low” in running. Some days I wondered if a race between snail-mail and my low running computer—who would win—snail mail, of course. And then I contacted the Geek Squad—it was help to my rescue! This SSD-Ultra that made my computer perform as if it was brand new! So, now my computer has let me know it was back working and my VAC is over!

Failed today. Just all of a sudden failure. Now hqve to buy a new one. Going to contact Scandisk but not happy at all. Loss my hw. Expected this to happen years down the road.

Failed at the 5 month mark. Was told at the time I purchase that I had a one-year warranty on it. As it turns out I was lied to.

Switched out an older laptop drive for this one and got a large increase in performance. Since it's not too expensive, and also yields a large benefit, I'd recommend this drive.

This laptop, after the drive had been installed, will not run. I, therefore, cannot review the product favorably.

Does not appear to be working. Makes horrible clacking sound when plugged into sata port. I will update review if I can get it to work.

After about 6 months of use the ssd keeps crashing and isn’t detected by my motherboard. Not good longevity

WOW!!! I cant express how shocked I am with how much faster this SSD has made my Macbook Pro 2012. I have been noticing that it was getting slower (with over 200gb of memory free). Within 6 hours from picking it up from store my Mac is back to being a beast!!! PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE on doing this upgrade. It will save you time and money.. It used to take at least 5 minutes for me to surf the web from startup , now it takes 35 seconds...

This ssd is fast, i got a 1TB version for my secondary data drive as well as a 1TB Samsung 860 evo for the OS drive in my custom pc, the 860 evo is a hair faster in benchmarks. But this drive was $40 cheaper and performs 95%or so as well as the samsung. My only question on it comes to long term reliability. I have used sandisk flash drives for years and only ever had a few heavily used ones fail 1 or 2 were my fault so its not that concerning. In real world performance i notice no real difference in this ssd and the samsung even tested loading same folder on each at the same time literally opened same speed.

No problems with the new hard drive. They were able to have it up in running within a week including putting all of my software and security back on. We were pleased!

Works perfect in MPC Live I must warn you though these MUST be formatted on another PC to be recognized by the MPC, I thought I had a bad unit until I figured this out Fyi....other than that can't go wrong for expanding storage on a MPC Hope this helps someone...

Worked fine in my application. Easy installation and easy to switch over my files. The delivery estimate was too optimistic, but it did get here in two days which is not too bad.

It works and does what i needed it to do. End of review.

Big Difference! Upgraded my HP Pavilion laptop from an HDD to SSD. The cloning process was seamless and all I had to do was pop in the SSD. The start up and overall speed was noticeable. Glad I made the switch!

Best upgrade you can get now a days for a computer! Works Wonderfully in the new machine!
