It is rare that a user really needs to pay the premium pricing for say a Samsung SSD. So a drive like this SanDisk really fits the bill when upgrading laptops that have hard drives that are showing their age.

The geek squad checked it for me and told me the hard drive was damaged and needed to be changed. Once it was replaced, it started to work as fast as new!!!

Great speed improvement, if pricey

Now it boots in 35 seconds. It is 2.5 inch form factor, so you need the adapter to fit in 3.5 inch desktop slots. Costly, but worth the price if it lasts (SSDs have a finite lifetime). Much cheaper than buying a new desktop.

Great quick upgrade for a sluggish laptop

You're not limited to the smaller capacity that used to be associated like SSDs in the past like 128 or 256gb. Best of both worlds and the installation was a snap. Couldn't be happier

Good value from a name brand

Never had any problems with the physical drive or the electronics. I always recommend these if you aren't after the die-hard performance (which most users won't notice) from Samsung that comes with the higher price tag. Overall great performance for everyday computing and gaming at a good price.
