I put this into my 7 year old Alienware. It was taking a long time for it to boot up and a very long time to launch programs. I was able to install this really easily and what a difference this makes, The computer boots up in seconds and everything launches instantaneously. I couldnt be happier!!

This SSD hard drive is very good and very fast. I’ve recommended for everybody I use my HP all one desktop computer.

Upgraded a regular hard drive in my desktop system. The solid state made it so much faster. It starts up quickly, and everything seems to run faster. If you are using an old spinning hard drive, I would definitely recommend solid state to get more life out of your slow computer.

I had a really lame OEM drive in what is otherwise a decent work machine. Replacing that drive with this SSD made all the difference in the performance and speed. Shame I had to replace the original drive as the computer was not that old. But it's now a useful machine.

Excellent, low cost replacemt for a 10 yo laptop hdd. It's like new again. Most dramatic speed change if you have a sluggish pc with an hdd.

Recently had to rebuild my pc (good laptop, but it's getting some years on it)....this was the quickest safest way to upgrade and reinstall my laptop without losing my old files, just add the new hard drive with the new OS and then copy things over as needed. Also impressed with the speed of an SSD over the old disk drive.

considering my amd based desktop uses parts from 2012, this keeps my machine load times to a minimum, as best as sata III can, If you are transferring an existing windows installation, the acronis software works only in my case where you have to have both drives installed in the machine for the arconis true disk imager software to actually validate and let you proceed. I didn't have a usb 3 to sata adapter that would let acronis work, so that could just be my problem, also faster than the newer samsung qvo I tried before having the sandisk installed

Best, fast & reliable ssd I have especially upgrading from HDD. Boots everything quick and runs games smooth as well.

Prior to installing the SATA Solid State drive, my HP laptop crawled. I doubled the memory but it was still like driving through a school zone. After the install I am amazed at the speed of my computer. It loads up much faster and zooms when loading a program. I actually love using my laptop again.

I recommend this SSD for either a replacement, new build or simply an expansion drive for your system. Best Buy had an unbelievable sale on these drives, (I wish I would have purchased more) and as such I will be purchasing additional SanDisk Internal SATA SSD's for expansion in my other devices.

My 2013 computer was running extremely slow Despite having plenty of room on the drive… The installation of This solid state drive Has made a world of difference! Finally .... VAROOM lightening speed! Grateful for the suggestion by the geek squad rep as well as installation!

I picked this SanDisk drive based on price, specs and reviews. I replaced a hard drive in my 17 inch touchscreen HP laptop with an A10 processor. Bout time was taking several minutes making an otherwise good computer unusable. Now a calf boot takes less than 20 seconds with Windows 10.

Best way to speed up a slow computer is with a new SSD drive and when this was on sale, it was a perfect time to replace the old mechanical drive. Huge improvement once I installed it, my girlfriend almost thought that I bought a new computer and so I bought one for her laptop and she's very happy as well.

Bought this for an alienware alpha and speed up the device significatly compare to the previous hdd! Would recommend if upgrading from a HDD.

I really like the new hard drive. It replaced an old drive that had crashed. This drive is quite fast. The computer starts quickly and shuts down quickly with out a lot of background, I wish I had done this sooner, as I lost quite a bit of data from my old drive that was not recoverable.

I have used several of the 500gb models and have had nothing but good from them. You cant go wrong with Sandisk. I use 2 in a raid and get great speeds from them. I needed a single drive to use as a backup space and this drive did the job perfectly. As always, was a cinch to get up and running.
