This is my first SSD with 1 TB capacity. I am satisfied in every way as it fully meets my expectations. The read and write speeds are good and the Drive performs reliably (which I can't say of some other drives I have by other manufacturers).

This was my Christmas present to myself. It's a great SSD. It took literally less than 10 minutes from start to finish to install Windows on it. Quite the upgrade from my 5 year old Western Digital!

This ssd took my 2017 laptop with an extremely slow hdd to the moon.

I have been using this for over a month and have had no issues. Does what it is supposed to do quickly. Migrating the OS to this drive took 2 attempts as the software from SANDISK/WD was not that easy to find so I tried the software with the migration kit which was not up to the task.

I purchased this solid solid state drive on recommendation of the Geek Squad. It's for an 8 yr old laptop that had gotten very sluggish. Wow, what a difference!! It's like I have a new computer!!! The installation included transferring from the old hard drive. But only documents, and photos, not programs. I'd prefer they simply copy the entire hard drive - or at least take a screen shot of the home page so I could remember what I had. It took me a few hrs to reconstruct what I had - but overall an excellent experience.

Works as advertised. This SSD has been proven to perform very well, not only in laptops, but also in desktops and even servers. It is the drive of choice, especially in size configurations over 480 GB. I haven't had a bit of problem with them. Easy to order and pick up in store. No waiting.

I used it to upgrade the spinning hard drive in an old Mac Mini. Worked perfectly. It is tons faster. There have been no known errors since install and it runs 24/7. (And I would NOT consider myself a computer guy in anything more serious than “did you try turning it off and back on.”)

When the hard drive failed on my laptop I replaced it with a 1TB SSD and am I ever glad I did. It is at least 4 times faster! Can hardly wait the other one to fail so I can replace it too. Makes no sound and not as fragile to move laptop around now, even while running. Love it and recommend it!

My game screen load speed is 40% faster while playing Neverwinter. The transition's from map to map are also 40-50% faster. Have also noticed other games I play load quicker. I have now installed SSD's in all 4 of my PS4's.

Hasn't given me much of any issues. Only real thing I can complain about is the read/write speeds are very low compared to an M2 drive that is only slightly more expensive. 560read/530write compared to 7000read/5300write M2 is a huge difference. On me for not noticing when I bought it. Runs well for what it is.

I purchased this ssd drive to replace a regular smaller drive. It installed with no issues and as expected the pc boots and loads applications faster. I have had zero issues with this drive and forgot about it until this review email came up and that is exactly how you want it.

Put this in a 7 year old Mac. Mac was never this fast out of the box. Very happy so far. One point of caution. If you use this in a Mac you will also need an In-Line Digital Thermal Sensor. That's about $40 with tax on Amazon. So I do recommend with that caveat.

It was purchased t replace the hard drive in Asus laptop which took 5 minutes+ to boot and is now in the process of being installed. I previously purchased another 1 TB Scan SSD drive for an HP Desktop and it works great. Will keep you posted on how it works in Asus laptop.

This was a second SSD that I installed to supplement my current 1TB SSD. Easy to install.. hookup SATA data and power cable and go to Disk Management In Windows 10..Setup as one partition as MBR and I was set..Sandisk has a nice utility on their site too if you want status info.

Performance is better and way more faster that the conventional hard drive in my son's gaming laptop. Satisfied and worth the bucks.

It's so easy to replace a mechanical drive with an SSD. Be sure to clone the drive so you don't have to reinstall the software, etc. This took about 20 minutes of my time and about three hours of transfer time. Reboot it and it's good to go. Amazingly fast with the SSD.

As far as I’ve used it, it works well and is fast. I put it where it gets good airflow to keep the temps down.

I got this for a laptop that was several years old. Prior to the upgrade it took s few minutes to boot up and now? 25.54655 seconds to boot up! ;-) Everything is faster now, including just smurfing the interwebs. I have given the computer to someone that needed a "new" one and could not afford to buy one right now. This is just a great way of helping out someone. It allows them to Skype with their family and friends during this Panic-Pandemic! No joking. I really does help them out by allowing them to see their loved ones. So if you've got an older laptop that could use a boost and know someone that could also use a boost, upgrade that computer and donate it to a friend! Pay it forward my friends! Sweeeeeeeeeeeet? Yup, it sure is. And very highly recommended! Trust me...I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

This is a really good SSD to buy for budget build, does everything you'd ever need it to do with a well known name so if anything were to go wrong i would think SanDisk would help fix the issue as long as it's not something like you dropped it on the toilet

This was probably the easiest upgrade I have ever made to our computers. The setup and copying the operating system was simple. Reinstalling all the programs and apps does take awhile, but this would be true with any hard drive replacement,
