Love my new ssd

Perfect SSD

Good drive

Amazing!

No more slow computer

Basic reliable SSD

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you can, always go with the SSD. I bought this to use as a second internal disk in an aging MBP. With a optical drive caddy it replaced the disk burner and held a backup and even a bootable version of Windows. Though the MBP didn't last too long after this the drive itself is quite useful still as an external drive to a different system. Transfers are great and read speeds are good. For a startup drive I suggest getting the largest one can and having a larger capacity HDD externally (or internally if you can get it) for everything else. That will give you all the capacity you need and the better speed.
