I had to replace the hard drive on a rather expensive HP All in one that had very gentle home use. It was barely 3 years old and completely failed on me unexpectedly. I was very disappointed that I even had to buy a new hard drive to begin with. I've owned this new drive for only about a month. All I can say is that it seems to be working as expected. Hopefully, it will last at least twice as long as the original one or until I am ready to replace it. I don't tend to upgrade my electronics frequently with ever new thing that comes on the market. However, I am pleased with my Geek Squad maintenance plan. They were very helpful and helped me get back up and running. Thankfully, they were able to recovery what seems to be most of my original data that I can tell so far. I was expecting it might be a complete loss. I give a middle rating for everything on this product because only time will tell. It's too soon to say for sure.

Easy to install if you feel comfortable opening up your laptop. Boots up much faster than older spinning drives. Backup also much faster.

This is my 1st experience with a solid state HD. Want to see how well it holds up. It does hold up to the reviews I've read. It starts apps quicker and load times are quicker. It seems to also reduce the operating temperature of the PC over all. I'm liking it very much. Replaced my traditional mechanical HD which was initially installed with Win 7 and upgraded to Win 10 but I was experiencing to many crashes using an upgrade rather than a fresh install. Wasn't sure if I had the aptitude to do it but it went almost seamlessly. And Win 10 Pro is only about $25.

I didn't.know my old computer could move so fast. At first, I thought it was broken. Then, I realized it was zooming faster than before and I wasn't keeping up. LOL

SanDisk Ultra 1.024 TB solid state drive. Is super fast. So glad the Geek Squad person guided me in the right direction in purchasing this product.

Everything that you would expect from an SSD, fast boot, fast access, turned a 3 year old laptop into a new laptop, a very nice, but not unexpected change.

I replaced the SATA hard drive with the 1TB SanDisk. I should have done it a lot sooner because thinks run a lot faster and smoother.
