lots of storage easy to install and price was excellent

I replaced my old hard drive with this 1 TB and that boosted the performance of my old desktop. It gave me enough space and flexibility to continue using the old desktop i have.

I bought 3 Western Digital 1TB SSDs for my 3 Dell 5000 series laptops, and they made all the difference! Now they boot up pronto instead of lagging forever, making me wonder whether they'll ever boot up. Good SSDs and good prices for them. And with my Total Tech Support contract, Geek Squad installed them for free! What a deal!

I purchased this as a replacement hard drive, for a Dell laptop. The upgrade to a ssd is huge. The original Dell hard drive was a traditional spinning platter drive. Over time it became so slow as to be considered useless. Now its like a new computer. It boot quickly. We should get several more years out of the old Dell with this upgrade.

I bought this SSD to upgrade my girlfriend's MacBook from the old hard drive with mechanical parts and the speed of the ssd hard drive is faster than I thought it would be. It starts up faster than my brand new MacBook Pro. if you are trying to upgrade a old laptop you need to get this one.

I bought this because I like the speed of SSDs. I do not use Windows and I know practically every hard drive out there works with Linux and this one does too. I have bought two of these for my computers and have not had an issue with either one. My boot up times although fast are lightning fast now. Great product.

I picked up a new desktop with an i7 and 12gb ram and an HDD... it was so sluggish that I couldn't believe it was an i7. I cloned the hard disk to this SSD and it's so much faster, like I expected from the start. It boots in under 10 seconds now. I didn't think to time it before the upgrade, but it had to be at least a minute.

I had Best Buy replace my old 700+ GB HDD with this 1 TB San Disk SSD and clone the old hard drive. Very good decision, my laptop boots up faster than when it was new and processes images very quickly regardless of which editing software I use or how complex the edit. All with a boost in storage capacity, yes, it was a great decision and good product choice.

and quite fast. If you haven't yet upgraded to an SSD, you need to do so. They will make your computer / laptop blazing fast. I have installed hundreds of Sandisk SSD's and they are fantastic.

Replaced the 1TB HDD of my 7 year old system with this 1.024TB SSD with the intentions of improving performance. Instead of installing fresh, I cloned the original drive. There was a noticeable performance improvement with boot times decreasing from 2 minutes down to less than 20 seconds on a 5th generation CPU.

This SSD is phenomenal compared the factory HDD that came with my 17" HP Envy laptop. It truly is amazing when you can see the difference in load up time and ease of use

I bought this to speed up my wife's laptop (HP Pavillion x360 15T) which had a standard hard drive in it. I was very pleased how much difference it made. Much faster bootup/web surfing and overall performance. I was worried how well it would fit inside. It fit perfectly! Good price for a 1.024TB as well.

Having used San Disk extreme memory cards I associated that this drive should be of quality. I purchased it as a one day sale item and saved over two hundred dollars. I am using a one year old HP 360 Envy core i7 8th gen with 16G DDR. This seems to be a match made in heaven as the computer start up time is under 10 seconds, all applications / programs seem to load and operate quicker and the battery life has extended about 40% along with it being quiet. The Geek Squad did a great job in transferring my operating system and recovered music and pictures from a previously dead laptop and was able to move that data to the new drive as well. Price vs overall upgrade was money well spent.

Computer runs sooooo smooth now and fast. 15 years old PC and is like having a new PC. Kept the old HDD for storage, online help from the manufacturer was easy to follow and set up. All for free too. The price of 1TB has gotten better so I have also a 500GB ssd, Cant beat it.
