Drive works well, would purchase again in future

Works well as primary drive and/or secondary drive. Would buy again, but would not have the simple installation done by Geek Squad. They did not follow the repair/service order instructions nor consult with client before making major changes on the original drive when instaing this secondary drive. Also unplugged one dvd drive (making it useless) to use cable instead of installing a new cable to the motherboard directly to the new sata drive. Very dissappointed with Geek Squad. Love the sata solid state drive. Definitely Reccomend.

good replacement

So far, it's worked well, the laptop doesn't get as hot and it's actually lighter than with the hard drive

Great SSD drive and pretty quick!

Overall the drive is great. Just make sure you have a 2.5" and not an m.2 drive before you purchase. Opened up my case and my 2.5" slot was empty. Added this drive to that slot so now instead of having 1 1tb drive, I have that in addition to my 256g m.2 drive.

Upgraded traditional hard drive to SSD that shortened bootup shutdown time dramatically. Very fast! It will give a older computer a new lease on life.

Speeds up your PC

This speeds up loading of apps significantly compared to a hard drive.
