    As far as I know its working fine. I had it replaced in my laptop after my hard drive failed. We went with the solid state drive, it doesn't have the moving parts that my original had. So far this is performing as expected.

    I replaced a primary OEM HDD in a nearly 13-year-old computer that was a crazy spec'ed machine for 2009, bought at Best Buy. Specs are 8 GB Memory, Intel Core(2)Quad Q8200, 640 GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GT120 with 1 GB dedicated Video Memory, running Windows 10 Home. The computer responds better than new. The SSD likely doesn't take advantage of the full speed it's capable of providing, but the upgrade was way more than worth it.

    I crave these drives! It was a bargain at $200. Even though it's designed to fit in a laptop, my desktop eagerly accepted it. Everything is faster, but I really appreciate fast boot ups and shutdowns.

    Do know that a 'Geek' was the person at a carnival that bit off the head of a live chicken. Really should know more about that SanDisk I got like how to change batteries or if they're rechargeable and how to turn and turn off the device.

    My Laptop was running slow. It took forever to load pages online and for apps to respond. After much frustration, I took my laptop to the TotalTech Geek Squad at Best Buy. After diagnosing the laptop, the tech, Philip, said that it needs a new Hard Drive. He recommended this one. Boy, what a difference!! It runs better than new! Highly recommend it. Great value for the money!
