I replaced my hard drive in a hp omen with this and it is now turbocharged! It was taking several minutes to boot and now it’s like 15 seconds! Amazing! Everything runs faster! Get one!!!!

It’s great and easy to put in my pc and added more space. Will be buying another.

Great upgrade to an older touchscreen laptop and easy to setup

This SanDisk 1 gig SSD is fast. The drive was easy to set up and performs much better than my previous Hard Drive that was in my laptop. The laptop now moves almost as fast as when it was new and will buy me more time before having to replace the laptop. I recommend this SSD.

Grabbed this as a secondary SSD for my gaming system. Bought it on sale and was a great deal for the performance that I get out of it. I have never had a problem with SanDisk SSD's.

My old hard drive crashed and I bought this one to replace and upgrade my PC with a faster SSD drive. Once you install the Sandisk SSD software it gives you great diagnostic info and it even tells you how long the drive will last. I am very pleased with it and it comes with a 3 year warranty. If you are installing inside a PC desktop or tower don't forge to the get the metal adapter to make it fit inside. It is $9.99 at Best Buy for the adapter. This Sandisk Drive was about $110.00 when I bought it.

This was vey simple to install and certainly has made my desktop computer faster to both start and to shut down. I have had no problems with it now in the three weeks that I have use it.

I will buy either Samsung or SanDisk SSDs. I prefer the Samsungs as they seem to be slightly faster but, for older Macs and PCs, it usually doesn't matter. One thing to be aware of, however: Check if your older Mac is using an nvidia controller; this SSD will run only at 1.5Gbps in such a Mac (instead of the 3.0Gbps you would expect). Apparently, this is an expected issue with those old Macs; they can't deal with the 6Gbps SSD chip in these SanDisk units (whereas Samsung's SSD chip is backward-compatible). All the above being said, this SanDisk SSD, if found at a competitive price, is a good unit.

I had no trouble installing or setup. It is fast and I have plenty of room for all apps. I made a good choice and price was good also. I think it will last me for a long time.

This SSD delivers the performance it advertises and it resonablely priced.

My 4-yr-old desktop computer had slowed to a crawl, and sounded like a coffee pot that was never done percolating. 10 minutes to start up. Geek Squad analyzed it, determined that the hard drive was not failing. They didn't think solid state hard drive would speed it up too much, but we did it anyway. Now, startup time is within seconds. Totally silent operation. Significant improvement in speed overall. And if I upgrade the desktop any time soon, I'll just pop my SS hard drive into the new computer. I am getting my money's worth with extended warranty that covers all devices.

Works like a magic. Overall speed of MacMini has significantly improved by this upgrade, I think SSD upgrade was worth the 60 minute effort. Great buy

Kids needed laptop for school work. I updated an old ACER laptop with a 500GB Scandisk drive an it went really well and gave new life to that laptop. Decided to upgrade another laptop, but it needed 1TB since the old laptop was a 750 GB drive. I couldn't find a 750 GB SSD drive so went bigger. Used same cable and 3rd party software from previous reviewer. Again no problems, and got this old Toshiba laptop working good. For this laptop, I also added more RAM memory, which made laptop really like new. Now need to go back to ACER laptop to upgrade RAM.

Installed as a Win 10 boot drive for my desktop computer. Works great! super fast boot time and lots of space for data. Make sure you use a 6GB/s SATA port to get the best performance

Could be better, maybe. Don't have much of a basis myself. Hasn't died and is way better than my hard drives. The silence is beautiful. Terabyte does ALMOST everything I need.

I was skeptical about replacing my old HP laptop HDD, after several months of research and wondering between EVO860 and Sandisk, I finally opted Sandisk SSD. It was one of the best decision that I made. The boot up process is certainly in seconds and overall performance of the machine is unbelievable. I am able to run several applications - VisualStudio, Andriod Studio, Simulators and webpages along with other office products there is no lag in application opening. Ordering on BestBuy online was easy, store pickup was quick and I was with my items in less than 30 mins. Thank you Best Buy for making it so easy.
