Needed a drive for a windows wipe, great price for such a big USB drive. Read and write speeds were amazing. Drive did heat up a good bit from transferring but that is to be expected moving 10GB of data within a few minutes

It holds all the files and photos from our old desktop. It was easy to use and eliminated having more than one flash drive to store docunents and pictures.

Holds a good amount of data, does what you want. It's data storage, what do you want from it? Data storage. What does it give you? Data storage. They wanted 50 characters so I decided to give it some more. It stores data. What I am typing is data. Maybe if we all type enough of it, the electronic overlords will choke on it (doubtful) and leave us alone. IT'S DATA STORAGE. What do you want to know about data storage?! I plugged it in and it worked. That's why I bought it. I didn't ask it to make me a sandwich, which if i was asking would have been a simple grilled bologna and cheese with a touch of sweet German mustard and some sliced dill pickles. But it can't do that, can it? NO. It's a stupid plastic encased bit of technology that stores and transfers data. It won't cure cancer, it won't solve climate change and it doesn't really matter, except to do the one thing it is meant for. And at storing data, it's truly outstanding.

Exactly the size i needed for a reasonable price. Ready for pickup sooner than stated.

I wanted a simple portable way to back up all of my pictures and videos, even though I have a backup hard drive connected to my PC desktop, This flash drive is perfect. 256 GB holds a lot of data. USB 3.0 means fast transfer. I can carry it in my pocket between locations. This is a perfect solution.

I'm really happy with this purchase. It's so fast to upload things on it and runs smoothly when connected to my PS4. No lag/loading time at all to play or anything when I run movies or music. So much space I don't even know what to add to it anymore. I should have gotten two. lol

The physical size is nice. Not to large that it interferes with other devices near it but not too small that you'll lose it. The retractable USB is also good if you're afraid of that getting bent. 256GB might seem like overkill for some but this is perfect if you hate having lots of tiny drives yet don't want a portable hard drive.

I needed a larger Flash Drive to download all of the photos from my iPhone, as well as to back up data from my laptop. This drive gives me all of the space that I need, with extra space for later needs. It gets a little warm when writing large amounts of data, but works well without any surprises.

I need to boot any operating system at any time. I use Ventoy to boot almost any ISO. I can boot OS/2 and Netware to Windows 11. This gave me a fast interface which works on most computers. It holds a lot of ISOs and Utilities.

I bought this flash drive in order to back up my desktop computer because I needed to get a new hard drive. Transfer speeds were fast enough and it held a lot of data. For the record, my previous drive was actually a 240GB SSD, so this was more than adequate. Would recommend again.

This plug-n-play memory stick is amazing. I'm doing video editing, and it holds so much that I don't have to worry about it getting full or paying an extra monthly fee for storage to a third party. With my work not being uploaded to a third party web site, I don't have to worry about my work getting out without my permission.

If you're someone who likes to have backups to your photos, videos, files, folders, or you travel a lot or are constantly busy with school or work, these little flash drives are worth the buy when you get them for the right discounted price. I own probably 8 of these Ultra 3.0 256-128 GB flash drives and they are very handy. I back up my photos on my external hard drives as well as on one of these. Mainly because since they are smaller they are easier to store and move around with if I use them for multiple things. They transfer data pretty quickly and they are on sale quite often. I highly recommend these if you are someone who saves data or like to have backups to your data to fall back on in case of a fail.

My first hard drive was an internal drive for a whopping 40 MEGAbytes of storage. That was considered huge back in the computer dark ages. To have 256 GIGAbytes in a package smaller than my little finger is simply amazing. If you need this amount of storage to transfer data you can't go wrong with the SanDisk Ultra.
