As a Disc Jockey there is a lot of trial in error in what equipment you invest in. I held this to a high standard before purchase to keep my files safe.
I have no complaints, loading capability is quick and efficient. This driver has compacted and simplified a lot for me.

I love the size and the price. Can't imaging going back to the days of a 1 Gig flash drive as the maximum storage space. Get this one. It is super fast and stores so much. I wish they would make it a bit more rugged, however. A little thicker plastic, less brittle, maybe aluminium? Can't beat the price.

I was looking for a good size flash disk to put on my router to create and FTP site. This fit the bill PERFECTLY. Best Buy had the best price on this one, and it works perfectly. Now I have a way for leaving my drafts and files for my publisher and others. Load it once, and it's there for their leisure!

I bought this large-ish flash drive for the purpose of transferring GoPro camera footage in native form so it could be played from the USB port in a Blu-ray player. Worked perfectly! Fast enough to play without stuttering. Perfect!

I was trying to transfer my iTunes music from an old hard drive to an older flash drive the plug it into our car radio but it wouldn’t recognize it. Went to Best Buy and the rep suggested this USB drive. Couldn’t believe how fast it transferred the music to it. Went out to the car, turned on the radio and plugged it in and it came up immediately. Very impressive. Thanks Best Buy!,

I purchased this item to transfer my 7000ish song library to a secondary hard drive, for a backup. Worked perfectly, Used about a quarter of the space and didn't take long to download it and even less time to upload it. DV

portable and efficient. I find it awesome how much SanDisk have improved since I was a kid. It's definitely worth the purchase if you're looking for a portable, small storage device. This thing supports up to 256gb on the go!

I have a ton if lesson plans and needed a way to save them as a back up. Had a 128gb, ran out of space and bought this one. It works well, easy to open and place into the USB slot. Does what it was designed to do. Got this on a 50 percent off sale, which was a bonus for me! :)

Love my new SanDisk. Holds all of my precious pictures of my new granddaughter, my only grandchild. So important to capture every moment! Easy to use, holds A LOT!!! Very reasonable price.

I purchased two of these and they are advertised as being 256GB. I used h2testw which is a utility that writes blocks of data to an empty USB flash drive and then verifies how many blocks of data are really on the drive. I relocated the software from both flash drives and tested them empty. The first drive tested at 236870 Mb, the second drive tested at 237861 Mb. So that is 236.8 GB and 237.8 GB. Both over 15 GB short of the advertised size. These drives are formatted and locked to FAT32 so people who don't know any better can't reformat them to NTFS which supports "journaling" and would shorten the life of the drive but I can't see the encryption to accomplish that consuming 15 GB of space. Still a decent sized flash drive for storing movies no larger than the FAT32 limitation of 4 GB. And for permanent storage of pictures and files.
