Purchased this product to create a slide show full of thousands of photos and videos for my uncles funeral. I had so much storage, and was able to create a video over 2 hours long full of memories of our loved one and good times that we had. Definitely would recommend this product as the go to for usb storage!

Nice basic USB with 3.0. Great for installing Linux in order to break away from Windows. We are witnessing late-stage capitalism. Be vigilant. Be mindful.

The Vault feature (preloded on the drive) is so nice and easy to use to safely send sensitive documents and this model downloads alot of info faster than others that I have used

This works well as a backup for your computer. Easy to carry in your pocket and is fast at transferring information.

Got the flash drive to transfer information from old laptop to new one. It downloaded everything off my old laptop (which did not have much speed shall I say) and was able to pick and choose what to put on my new faster laptop. I did not use the security features, just simple transfer (I am still learning to use a computer in my "old age") that I could tackle with ease and grace. I have it attached to my desk (husband proof) and can use it as storage for information I dont want to lose, but dont want to transfer to fill up another computer. Now I dont have to look at 10 different flashdrives to find all my info.

I have always bought SanDisk. Nice to transfer photos or videos to it and give it to the family. Great to have all the grandkids pics and videos on it and watch it on the TV! Thanks SanDisk for being a great product!

Great value, plenty of storage, easy to use, plug it in and it's ready to use

I'm using it as plug-in extra storage, especially as I move files and apps around while cleaning up my hard-drive. Both my cloud backup and my external hard drive stopped backing up at the same time, so I needed a quick way to hold some files that I didn't want to lose. Scandisk is usually very reliable. Woundn't it be great to have a thumbdrive that could transmit via Thunderbolt!

Great use for transferring files for work/school. USB 3.0 transfer speeds cut down time waiting (works best if your computer supports USB 3.0).

I'm not a particularly easy person to please because when I buy something, I expect it to work beyond all of my wildest expectations... and this little drive works. It is by far faster than my old USB drives (sorry, cute little black cat USB drive). I'd like to consider myself loyal to the Sandisk brand because we've been using their products for years, but when it comes to buying anything new, I'm skeptical because I back up a LOT of important things (kids' pictures, their homework, *MY* homework and papers, household finances, etc etc), so I feel confident in this product's stability *knock on wood*

I recently bought an ASUS ROG G703 top of the line laptop and realized that it was limited to the transfer speeds of my old external hard drive and old USB Drives. So I decided to buy a new one. I used to buy all Western Digital drives but when comparing the same size drive to the SanDisk, I found that the Sandisk was faster and higher rated. It transfers files like a dream on my new speedy computer I have no real use for the cloud storage or encryption vault programs that come with it but for someone that needs that it is a nice plus

If you get this 256 GB for a thumb drive you will notice that is is durable. Keeping this in mind I don't mean durable as in you can run your car over it durable. I would simply say this seems to be one that will last you for a long time if you care for it properly. I had to replace my other USB thumb drive due to it starting to fail. I highly recommend you pick up one or two of these if you are able to double and triple back your work. I was fortunate enough to find mine on sale for around $60.00, but these normally retail for close to $200.00. I highly recommend this, especially if you can find it on sale.
