I bought this flash drive in order to back up my desktop computer because I needed to get a new hard drive. Transfer speeds were fast enough and it held a lot of data. For the record, my previous drive was actually a 240GB SSD, so this was more than adequate. Would recommend again.

Good usb storage easy to use connects fast hold alot

I have used SanDisk 256 Gb for all my music, pictures, some docs needed right away. Convenient, handy where I can take anywhere. Only brand ever used since.

This plug-n-play memory stick is amazing. I'm doing video editing, and it holds so much that I don't have to worry about it getting full or paying an extra monthly fee for storage to a third party. With my work not being uploaded to a third party web site, I don't have to worry about my work getting out without my permission.

Good size to not lose, though the button to extend it is a bit fiddly sometimes. Decent speed too

If you're someone who likes to have backups to your photos, videos, files, folders, or you travel a lot or are constantly busy with school or work, these little flash drives are worth the buy when you get them for the right discounted price. I own probably 8 of these Ultra 3.0 256-128 GB flash drives and they are very handy. I back up my photos on my external hard drives as well as on one of these. Mainly because since they are smaller they are easier to store and move around with if I use them for multiple things. They transfer data pretty quickly and they are on sale quite often. I highly recommend these if you are someone who saves data or like to have backups to your data to fall back on in case of a fail.

Purchased this flash drive to copy and transfer data from an old pc to a new pc. Worked perfectly and quickly. No issues. Excellent price for a 256 GB flash drive.

Thumb drive performs as expected. Using it to backup my pictures and nothing else.

My first hard drive was an internal drive for a whopping 40 MEGAbytes of storage. That was considered huge back in the computer dark ages. To have 256 GIGAbytes in a package smaller than my little finger is simply amazing. If you need this amount of storage to transfer data you can't go wrong with the SanDisk Ultra.

Compact and fast. It was a good deal for the cost.

Does the jib just fine...speed seems adequate and files have not been corrupted thus far...would buy again if needed

SanDisk flash drives are reliable, easy to use, and cone with built in encryption software if you need to use it. I have many and none have ever failed or had issues.

This works great, no problems. I tried a memory card but my files were unreadable. But I had no problems with ths Ultra 256 GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drive. Everything I have downloaded works great. If you are looking for a back up, this might be your best bet.
