i liked that it has a lot of storage space compared to the smaller usb drives. transferring files is so easy & fast. i love that it’s a small device to carry around.

I like the Sandisk usb flash drives because of how simple they are to operate. They are reliable, fast and how a good amount of storage at a great price. I alos like how the the thumb drive has a slide to protect the usb connection.

I have had this drive for a few weeks now, but I've used the Ultra's many, many times. I probably have 10 of these in varying capacities and not a single one has caused me any issue. If I'm going to get a flash drive that I actually want to use to store something of mild importance, this is going to be the one. Also large capacity is nice, and the speed is decent, much, much better than a USB 2.0 drive. If you have USB 3.0 ports, get a 3.0 drive. You'll save so much time copying.

Easy to use and durable...love the retractable USB to protect the most aspect of the drive. Quick to move files...capacity is awesome.

This is my third product from Sandisk. Good company with product that make your life easier. Storage is excellent and very simply to use. Carry it with you when you are at places like a library when needed to download information. I would recommend it since it’s small vs carrying a hard drive

I have purchased a few of the SanDisk Flash Drive and am very satisfied with it. Holds lots of photos and files.

I purchased this item primary because of the price and capacity. I have a ton of USB 2 sticks but this one seems promising. I have used it pretty heavily in the last month. - Bootdisk for reloading my MacOSX. - Storing backup software to reload while I am offline on new systems - I have even used it for temp caching on a data mining project due to the device I was currently on it was very limited on ram/hdd space. It held impressively and did not unmount under very heavy load. I was very tempted to buy a few more but after since I primary either have it in my laptop bag or key-chain it opens very easily (its obviously designed to be on a key-chain and mobile has the loop on it). It Drives me nuts. That is the only reason I took off a star. Yes I know they have a carrying pouch but I am not very interested in buy another product for something I feel should be handled on here. It should not be that difficult to add either a locking mechanism such as a pocket knife has or perhaps stiffen up the sensitivity of it opening up. Other than that I would strongly recommend the product for the price and quality. If I was not so mobile I would own several more!

I took my older Apple to the shop to get all my documents, music, pictures and videos transferred to this flash drive. I am still amazed it holds all that information in that tiny little gadget.

I needed a high capacity thumb drive in order to move numerous photos from my hard drive. This flash drive did the trick. Worked exactly as expected.

Over the past 20+ years, I have bought and used many SanDisk flash drives and cards. All of them are still working! This makes me confident that SanDisk-Ultra 256GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drive will serve my purposes longer than I will be around. This drive was purchased to store dozens of short video clips that I made for a non-profit organization that I work for as a volunteer. The copies were gathered from many different folders, so I now have them in one convenient compact drive from which I can distribute them individually in an efficient manner, as well as having a reliable backup. I am very happy with this compact drive and the reasonable price that I paid for it at Best Buy. It lacks a LED that some drives have to indicate activity, but I did not need it for my purposes, and I was happy not to paid extra for a model with the LED. Thus, I give it 5 stars despite the lack of a LED.

No need to spend a lot for storage. Priced low with lots of room for your data/media needs. Quick and easy insertion and/or removal of device. Perfect for the person who wants/needs to take their data/media with them. Rugged enough towards stand most activities and small enough to go just about anywhere.
