Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the Ultra 2TB Internal SSD SATA's excellent performance, ample storage capacity, and competitive price. Many appreciate its ease of installation and the significant speed improvements, particularly faster boot times and quieter operation compared to traditional hard drives. While some users noted slightly elevated temperatures under certain conditions, the overwhelmingly positive feedback highlights the drive's value and effectiveness. The lack of included cloning software was a minor concern for a few customers.

If you have a PS4 Pro, you need to get an SSD! It will speed up your system in general, and will keep your system cool and a whole lot quieter when running games like Call of Duty, or other massive sized games. The 2TB may be too expensive for some, so step down to a smaller sized SSD, in my testing I got the PS4 to utilize a SSD that was 240GB in size. If anything you need to utilize the Pro's Sata 6Gb/s speeds for system navigation while running a program in background, it makes a huge difference, so buy a cheaper internal SSD for your main 3 games and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 external HDD for all else which will keep your system cool and quiet.

I upgraded my 6 year old Lenovo ideacentre 300s with this solid state drive. It's like I have a new computer! I had stopped using my machine because it was so slow, and had decided to upgrade to a new laptop. Then I thought....why spend a grand or more when maybe I can just fix what I have. Now, I'm no computer geek. I've never opened a computer up so when I decided to see if I could save my old PC I went online and watched some videos. First I learned that the easiest way to improve your sluggish PC is to upgrade memory and the hard drive. Then I started watching videos on how to do that. It really isn't hard. If you're not a phD in computer technology, but you want to upgrade your old PC, Google is your friend. First step for me was to factory reset my computer, and get it running smoothly. Once I did that, I bought a SATA to USB cord, connected my new SSD to the computer through the USB port, then cloned (copied) the hard drive from inside my computer to the new SSD. (Free program called Macrium available online). Then I turned the computer off, opened it up and made the switch. (Find some videos online of people opening up your specific PC before you start, just so you have an idea of what everything looks like on the inside). It seems like it might be a complicated process, but it's not. I basically have a new for the cost of a new SSD and a stick of ram (less than 300 total). It's so snappy now!

I have a number of Samsung drives, it's usually what I go with. On paper, this one is a little faster than the 860 evolution I was going to get. I figured why not give it a try since it's a little cheaper than the 860... not disappointed, great performance, drives work great and as fast as they claim to be.

I brought my 7 year old Asus Computer that I use for graphic and photographic artwork in for service. I kept hitting the limits of memory when I was using Adobe Photoshop and other programs. The Geek Squad evaluated it and suggested an updated cpu and the San disk 2 TB internal SATA solid state drive. They replaced these and my computer is fast and totally functional. It is not hitting ram limits or C drive storage issues. This was performed under my service contract. I highly recommend their services.

After reading the reviews for the best replacement of my PS4's hard drive I went with the Scan Disk 2TB SSD. Not only do I have more storage but it definitely loads the programs and games much quicker.

These are the same as WD Blue and either is a great choice for upgrading any mechanical, spinning platter HD. PCIE stick drives are somewhat faster, but many computers only have an eSATA bus and this is about as good as it gets in those applications. 1 - 2 TB drives are getting pretty affordable at about $100/TB. Big enough capacity and fast enough performance to justify the expense and hassle of upgrading.

Though I have not had this drive long, I do own another from this brand that I've had over three years. The speeds on this drive are better than average. The amount of storage is just right for a minimum capacity. (I would never buy an SSD with less than 2TB unless I was going for an NVMe drive. Than 1TB is the lowest I'll go.) I wish it was MLC but nobody seems to want to make that anymore. Better yet: Pure SLC. There's got to be a way to get the price of those babies down.

Works as it should, plug n play. Just remember this is a sata drive not m.2 in reference to the speeds. Still kickass compared to a normal hard drive.
