I perform a relatively large amount of drive upgrades from mechanical to SSD. The SanDisk SSD line is without question the most reliable drive to transfer data drive to drive. I have NEVER had to replicate a data transfer to a SanDisk drive because of errors. I wish I could say that about other SSD manufacturers. Just because you pay more for something does not always mean your getting a better product.

Bought this as a replacement drive for a PS4. Easy installation and so far has been very reliable. It is a good hard drive.

I got this to increase my storage space and to upgrade to ssd specifically for vr games since that's where loading can get a bit much. Works great as expected of an SSD. Lately been on Monster Hunter World where you're constantly in and out of loading menus between world's, it's a huge time saver as well as with other games like Doom where death is constant, easy loading. As well as modern warfare's constant updates and reinstallation of shaders just to play the game, loading and playing is less a headache with only only your internet speed bottle caps you.

Huge increase in space. Part of this disk was included in a Raid 0 config to keep the speed up when loading big CAD drawings. Love it!

This drive is really making a big difference in an older laptop that was running a conventional 2.5" hard drive. Amazing how fast it boots.

I upgraded from a 1 TB HDD to this 2 TB SSD. Increased capacity, and increased performance! After 3 weeks, this has been a welcomed upgrade!

I was running a 10 yr old custom i7 system with 16MB RAM. I tried to clone a 2TB SATA drive to one of these. Sandisk tech support tried to be helpful without success. I was using Acronis for cloning. I also paid for EASUS for cloning and got the same result. In the end, I had a new system custom built using both drives in a RAID setup. I was due for one anyway. Love the drives.

Added this drive as a secondary storage device in my PC. After plugged in, it required formatting, but then worked seamlessly.

Speed, storage. What else do you need? Oh btw I need another one. Mine is almost full of games.

#1 reason is for much faster boot times. If you do gaming with most modern games now requiring up to 60gb or more, this gives you the storage without fear or running out anytime soon. Quality construction and small compared to the peformance, write speed, etc. You really can't go wrong. Please keep in mind that if this will be your primary or only drive you or the Geek Squad would have to load your operating system. You will need your Operating System Key to begin or buy a new key. I am very happy with my purchase.

Used in PS4 Pro and what a difference it has made. Everything is faster which is always good for me and I have plenty of storage for my games.

I bought this to replace a 2 TB regular HD that was slowing down computer boot and out of sleep operation. I could hear the other drive spin up and then my computer would respond. On boot it was only an added few seconds, but out of sleep mode was another story. I'm not even going to look at whats on the drive and it still has to spin up and be ready before I could enter my password. This SSD solved that issue completely. Out of sleep now take 2 seconds. I'm not even sure if it's not the monitors waking up that takes the time. Great purchase.

Replaced an old 2TB HDD for near term backup storage. Backing up my large VMs from SSD to SSD is now few minutes versus over 30mins.
