I upgrade my 2013 21" iMac from regular 512GB HDD to this 512GB SSD. I didn't expect the speed I get from this SSD. My computer boot just as fast as my MacBook Pro Retina. Now, it makes me want to use my iMac even more. I really enjoy the speed. You never go wrong with this SSD.

Can't beat this little SSD for the money. Upgraded a slow 5400 rpm hard drive in a brand new Asus with otherwise great specs, and this SSD filled the need perfectly for a 512GB drive. Install went great, now boots in about 15 seconds as compared to 2 minutes or more before.

Fair Price, works as expected. Easy to install. Make no sound.

I bought this drive as a replacement for my MacBook Pro hard drive. I couldn't get my MacBook to recognize it. I tried it on a Windows machine and couldn't get Windows to recognize it either. No real help from the directions. Eventually Windows recognized it and then when I moved it to my MacBook, it worked there as well. Once I got the computer to talk to the drive, it worked beautifully. Very quick.

I bought this to upgrade my PC that I recently bought. I got it on sale for $129.99. The store price was $10 higher but they honored the online price once verified. Install was easy and performance was phenomenal. I would definitely buy this again.

Easy install and setup. This is the best upgrade you can do for speed increases in your machine.

Used this SSD to replace the WD Blue HDD in my Lenovo laptop. I wish SanDisk would include instructions for doing this. After some online research, downloaded the excellent free AOMEI Backupper software to clone and shrink the larger 1TB HDD to this 512GB SSD. It took about 2.5 hrs to clone 200GB data using my slow USB 2.0 SATA enclosure. But this way I did not have to reinstall Windows 10 or any other software. As a precaution, I disconnected the laptop's battery before doing the transplant. Only tool needed was a philips head screwdriver and a plastic guitar puck to pry open the laptop case. Before buying the SSD I had used the HWiNFO program to verify that my laptop supported SATA III interface to get the full benefit of SSD 6Gb/s speeds. But I was still surprised to see my laptop boot instantly and all programs load several times faster. I also installed the recommended SanDisk SSD Dashboard software for monitoring the health of the drive. Next project - add the 1TB HDD as secondary storage by replacing the DVD drive with a SATA HDD caddy.

Successfully installed this SSD drive into my father's computer which had an older spinner and was taking 2+ min to boot into Win 10. After cloning the old drive onto this new SSD, boot time is just 40 seconds. Most older systems the bottleneck regarding speed is not the RAM or the CPU, the bottleneck is really the older hard-drives. Keep your old system and boost its performance by installing an SSD drive. I've also used this one in my own PC a while back and it is an excellent choice.

While I am often hesitant to review products like this immediately after purchase, for what it's worth, the drive mounted easily, was immediately recognized and functions fine. I'll update if there are problems within the next 12 months.

The Best Buy associate that helped me was awesome. He wasn’t even working in the department that I was in , but helped anyway. He found my hard drive and rang me up for it. I got a great deal on it. It is super fast and was easy to install.

While this may not match the performance of a newer nvme ssd, it is great for an older system or a laptop that doesn't have an m2 slot. I bought 3 of these and they all worked perfectly installing windows and other software.

Very glad I talked to the salesman about how to improve the speed in my new Dell Laptop. Having this installed made a huge difference in the speed and ability to handle multiple programs running at the same time. Good investment!

Great storage for a great price. Never had one fail on me yet. I’ve bought three different sandisk ssds over the past 2 years. Two 240gb and this 512. Can’t go wrong and there’s no reason to pay more for another brand.

I have used this as a replacement for the hard drive on a laptop and the improvement in performance is tremendous. Very fast (5 sec availability from sleep) on my desktop as well. I use another one as an additional drive on my computer when I want fast access for large video file processing. It really speeds up the application times.

Installed into an older Dell desktop to increase speed. Easy install and cloning with the recommended free software. Boot up time reduced from a minute twenty seconds to about 20 seconds! Great price and great results.

Replaced an SSD that was about 5 years old with this one, and was not disappointed. Maybe even a little surprised at the speed. The Sandisk name is a great one, so you won't go wrong with this. Great value.

Replaced my HD with the SSD in my laptop and it gave it new life. Now instead of waiting 2-3 minutes for it just to boot it restarts in about 20 seconds and everything seems to be running so much faster.
