This SSD is faster than the mechanical hard drive that I replaced when it failed after only 2 months. I hope this SSD is more reliable. I installed it Dec. 10, 2017. So far, so good. It is working fine.

I bought two of these 512 GB SSDs, which are 475 GB each in the windows OS. I purchased them when it went on sale for $89.99 on the daily deals. I replaced my Kingston 120 GB SSD with one of these SSDs due to space filling up. I use the other SSDs to install my games, which makes a huge difference in loading games than using a standard HDD. I would recommend getting a Samsung SSD, but if you are unable to buy one due to price, this is a great alternative.

This replaced my 2012 MacBook Pro's internal hard drive and it now boots up in less than a minute and loading up my files is faster than ever. This upgrade is definitely a must for older MacBooks!

Got this ssd on sale for less than what a standard hard drive usually costs. It boots almost instantly when I turn on the computer. It has made using my computer a lot more appealing.

Easy to install, but don’t use the software mentioned by the documentation. Find better free software on most any hardware forum on the internet. Makes my old laptop run reasonably fast.

Installed this in my old Mac Mini to increase performance - switched from a 7200 RPM drive to SSD. Big performance boost as expected, and was really easy to install. No issues.

I had been looking for a large capacity SSD and this SSD worked great and I was able to clone my existing 1TB Hard Drive (which was using about 300GB) onto this SSD with no issues. Even though the description says it's for laptops it's for desktop PC's as well. So far it has been reliable.

While not a top of the line SSD in performance, it was still an upgrade from my old 256GB on SATA II. A good, affordable upgrade for anyone without losing too much space

I use this SSD as the drive for OS on my wife's computer. I use a TB drive on my own main computer. This is especially good for the OS drive, as it is much faster than a mechanical HD, and reboot is much faster. it is big enough for a normal user's OS, and it will hold a normal amount of programs. This is a good, reliable SSD for most PC users.

I installed this in a 3 year old HP Laptop i5 intel CPU. Windows 10 and Microsoft Office. installed without a problem. The Laptop starts up very fast, less than 10 seconds and ready to go. If you are looking to upgrade and increase performance of your Computer for minimal expanse, Highly recommend this SSD.

I purchased this SSD to speed up the load times of Windows 10 on an old Pentium Dual Core that only has 4GB of RAM. It extends the useful life of my laptop for at least a couple more years. Loading windows is at least 4 times faster and the buffering while playing videos no longer presents an issue. Although, I would not advise this type of upgrade for a slow Intel Celeron based chip-set. I tried it on such a laptop, it did not produce the results I was hoping for.

512 hb ssd yessir the speed is amazing and you still have a ton of space recommend an ssd to anyone trying to upgrade boot speed and write speed can’t beat it

This review is nit applicable to what I purchased EXCEPT for one important (from your perspective) reason: I bought what is a commodity item. It did what is was supposed to but it should always do that. The salesperson on the floor took the time to actually walk me over to the aisle where what I wanted was located. See the next request "add a title". I will review items that I purchase if the process is easy. Whoever wrote the outline of what to ask and how ti ask it should be replaced by someone who will get you meaningful input. If I do not fill in EVERY box this survey will not complete. I would wager that you receive less than 15% of the reviews that you send out. I am reviewing a purchase of less than $25 not planning an invasion of Iran. This next sentence was the title of my review as it was ESSENTIAL!! that I have a title. Only problem is when I entered the next line as my title the error message said that my title was too long. Do you know how many PHD thesis's would be disqualified? My original title:You need to review your "review measurement format"

Not only did this hard drive give me more space for storage, it dramatically improved the speed of my MacBook Pro. No more spinning ball while you wait!

Very Lightweight. Easy to install. Increased the overall performance and battery life in my laptop. I get an extra 1.5 hours of runtime after upgrade.

Easy to install and use, excellent bargain!

This is the third one I have purchased within a year. Each time I've upgraded a laptop with a new SanDisk SSD. Very easy to install and a great price.
