    Problems updating the San Disk Security Program Files on at least one of the two Flash Drives that I purchased today. This probably explains why San Disk id dumping this item a a significantly reduced price. Best Buy is good, San Disk is mediocrer.

    This drive has reasonable transfer speeds in my experience with it, not stellar, but not terrible either. Very much what you'd expect for the cost. The drive does not seem to get hot to the touch, as others do.

    San Disk USB drives have been reliable to me in the past, which was the reason why I choose this USB flash drive. I plugged it into my computer and immediately my computer started to run slower. I tried to format it to fix the problem, but then got a error message saying it is read only and not able to format. I tried to find a solution online, but none of the tricks worked, so I did an exchange. The 2nd one seems to be working fine, but now I don't trust it with my important information.

    As a storage device this one is as good as any. However the encryption is difficult to use and slows the input to a crawl if the file size is very large. Documentation or user instructions are not the greatest either.

    The reading speed is good. But the writing speed is slow. The outlook is a little bit too big. I prefer smaller Flash drive. It won't hurt my Mother board when I unplug it. Overall, it's good for this price.

    Just cheap quality. I was worried it was going to break. I used it for a one time thing only but can’t imagine using it for multiple use.

    64gb has 59.6gb of usable space. Most have some embedded overhead which reduces this to 58.8gb. That is considered the standard, but for some reason all of the SanDIsk that I have checked only has 57.8. I needed to clone a standard 64gb thumb drive, but could not use the SanDisk because the clone needs to have at least the same or greater available space which the SanDisk does not have making it a brick for my needs. Had to buy another brand.
