Used it to format windows 12 on it and it worked like a charm. The 3.0 is a bit overkill but definitely worth it in my opinion

I really liked the Sandisk 64gb usb storage! Ttransfers are very quick. I copied all files from an old pc to a folder on new pc. Took 5-10 minutes. The item was on sale for large discount. I returned to Best Buy and purchased another 64gb USB a few days later. I was unable to use a portable hard drive which downloaded for more than an hour, then I was unable to transfer data to the new pc.

I have a bunch of what are now older, slower, smaller USB 2.0 thumb drives. The SanDisk ones have always worked well for me. Boy are the newer USB 3.o ones fast. Also fit is stable when I mount them on my laptop. I bought a fairly large one - 64GB - and recommend them. Bestbuy $27.99 sale. Most new PCs and MacBooks now have USB 3.0. It's nice knowing I can use this one for a few years and not regret it. Yes, I know a rev of 3.2 is coming, but they won't be out until 2017. Enjoy this thumb drive for two years or more.

Technology just keeps getting better. I have purchased 3 of these SanDisk 64GB thumb drives (one to replace a lost drive) and am very happy with the amount of data storage and the speed of file transfers. I use a red drive for my personal information and I use a black drive for my picture/video files; the colors makes it easier to know which drive I need to grab. And the price is such a good value for the storage devices. I'm considering purchasing more units as Christmas Stocking Stuffers.

Small in size and very easy to use..plus the 3.0 is fast. Comes complete with locking software pre-loaded. A very good buy!

Works great to transfer files, Red color makes it easy to find on desk or in briefcase. Very good price.

I was thrilled to find such a great deal on this flash drive. So far it seems to be working just as I'd hoped, fast transfer of files. The largest I've transferred so far has been around 300 MBs so I can't speak to very large file transfer rate. My one complaint which is that the drive doesn't stay "in" with the drive looped onto a small key ring. The hole seems too close to the slider mechanism so any movement causes the drive to slide open. The purpose of this drive for me was for traveling daily to college classes and I didn't want a drive floating around loose in my backpack. I'm concerned long term about potential damage. I wouldn't purchase this particular model again for the design flaw but it's still a great value. I would recommend this with the caveat that it's best for at home or office use, not for daily travel.

This is a USB 3.0 64gb flash drive that is easy to find and never lose a cap as it retracts into the body. The drive is actually quite fast and so far extremely reliable. It does not get hot when reading or writing. Thermal control is much better than the tiny USB flash drives. Its read speeds are phenomenally fast and write is equally good. No issues, should have to buy a few more.

Actually Orange. Easy to spot in a jungle of black items sitting on a computer table. Like the 64G size. Never had a problem with any SanDisk memory stick and they vary in size from 4G up-I have a 256G. Reliable. Trust worthy brand if you want to feel secure in knowing they don't crash. At least I haven't had that problem.

Slides into any (Usb) slot with ease. Can fit many Adult Movies onto 1 device. Easy to clean. Does not give off a bad odor

I would consider a reliable flash drive a utility. It works without you needing to think about it. This drive for me has a good price point and it works. I like the red color and it is noticed by my Windows 10 as soon as I put it in. Large file transfers complete quickly and efficiently.
