I was shipped a damaged drive???

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this drive so I could have a new USB 3.0 drive to use for transferring files between my PS4, laptop, and desktop PC. It had more storage than my previous drive and was faster to boot, so I was optimistic that it would deliver. Unfortunately, I was shipped a damaged drive that was rendered useless. From the looks of it, it looked like someone took a set of pliers and clamped down on the drive, damaging both the plastic shell and the USB connector that was inside. This was very disappointing, as I've had good experiences with SanDisk's other products, so to receive a product that seemed to have been deliberately tampered with was disappointing. I'm unsure as to whose fault it was that the drive arrived in that condition, but I advise caution when purchasing this drive.
