At the time I purchased this, it was really cheap. However looking back I should have waited for the 256 gb to be on sale and owning a couple instead of many of these 64 gb. One thing about buying these usb is that you should buy the 3.0 instead 2.0 bc the former is much faster in terms of write and read.

great buy

I reduced my Movie collection to HD mp4 digital and loaded them on this drive. I was able to put a few over 40 movies on the drive and that takes up a lot less room in my back pack to carry my movies with me while I am traveling. Love it

Slower than I expected

I wanted a usb 3.0 drive for the speed. Reading and copying is quick, but writing to the drive is far slower and gets tedious waiting. I have ended up deciding I will buy a faster drive when the prices on the higher end ones come down and have ended up using it for my roku tv for pausing live tv, which works pretty slick and this drive does it without an issue.

Saw this one was on sale for a great price for its capacity, and having used SanDisk drives in the past I knew this would be a good purchase. It certainly meets all my needs and is performing great!

Excellent and very portable storage device

I use it for backup/restore of my laptop PC, which requires about 40GB of external storage. The USB 3 speed is far superior to USB 2, which would require five to ten times longer to store this much backup data.
