Great for s starter memory card

NOT RELIABLE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the card in July 2013, and used for 2 months prior to a big family trip. On the fourth day of the trip the card suddenly stopped working, Sent to an expert in data recovery of SDHC and microSD cards and he said the controller had failed because the card was DEFECTIVE. But, the worst part is that the controller and memory chip were enclosed in thermoset making data recovery impossible. Only 20% of cards are enlcosed in this material but if your controller fails, there is no hope for data recovery. If it had not been in thermoset, data recovery would have been possible. I don't want anyone else to go through this so please be aware that memory cards fail and you will be out of luck if the controller fails on this one.

Incorrect sandisk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took camera to Best Buy for new SanDisk. Wanted to upgrade from 2 to 8 GB. Was told by sales agent this would work great. Guess what!!! My camera (which was also purchased from Best Buy) would not support the larger SanDisk. Did not find this out until I got it home and tried it out. After a return trip to the store, another sales agent determined the problem and exchanged for the correct one....same as the 2 GB I had originally. Other than a terrible inconvenience, the camera works fine now with no further problems. I just wish the sales agent had been more knowledgeable about my needs.....would have made a much happier customer in the beginning. Could not recommend this to a friend for this reason only.
