I bought this to offload some big video and image files from my phone. It does connect easily and it’s simple to transfer. My main concern is the over heating after about 5 minutes or so. Make sure you’re in a cooler than normal area with your phone already charged. It does require a lot of battery power. Overall it’s still worth it if you are in a pinch and can’t plug your phone up to a computer to back everything up.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After ive used it a scarce few times, it gets pretty hot which effects the transfer process of information, bringing it to a snails pace ive used both the usb c function and regular usb functions it is pretty small in size but I wonder about how much thermal protection it has within…I only have 125gbs of info copied on it atm and I do big transfers with it but still i would expect better performance especially for the price even though it was a steal and for functionality…hope that helps other with decision.

Sleek & Powerful USB Drive

It also has very fast transfer speed. I bought a "cheapy" for $20 off Amazon.com, and it didn't work at all. Moral: you get what you pay for sometimes. Lastly, I remember the old computing days when an external hard drive used to be quite big, awkward and clumsy.
