I can’t give it a higher rating because it runs very hot. The casing is metal so I’m not concerned about it melting. I don’t keep it plugged in for long, just long enough to transfer the files to my iPad. So far it’s working. I’m hesitant about recommending this product because of the heat issue. I have purchased SanDisk flash drives in the past and never ran into this problem.

I had to buy a new thumb drive with a C port for the phone because all the new products no longer use the less expensive micro ports. So glad that this drive was on sale. (I regretted having to give up my old, dead battery Samsung Galaxy phone that accepted an SD card and that fit in my pocket.)

It seems pretty sturdy. The performance seems good enough, but I haven't benchmarked it. I purchased the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB USB 3.1 when it was on a crazy sale. The only thing I don't like is that a connector end is always exposed. The swivel only protects one end and there is no cap. This was clear to me when I purchased it and isn't a big deal to me.
