After reading about the life of external hard drives, and their propensity for breaking down, I wanted something else to back up my photos on. This is great, slips nicely into the side of laptop and is quick and easy to use. The perfect little addition to your go-bag, especially if you are in a disaster prone area.

Love it small size. Easy to carry in you wallet. Also is protected for damage or dirt by nice small cover.

Extremely small and convenient for such a large capacity. However, when writing to this drive, it gets extremely hot. Hot enough that a large data transfer caused it to disconnect from my USB port in the middle of this transfer, and the drive is uncomfortable to handle. The drive was connected to a MacBook Pro 15" unit with USB C ports via the Apple USB C adapter. For this reason, I will not mount it in any computer's USB port as I don't want to risk damage to the port due to overheating. Instead, I use a USB extension cable (USB C to USB A, high transfer rating) so the heating stays away from the computer. I also try to restrict transfers to no more than 10-12 GB at a time to prevent overheating. I notice a gradual slowing of the transfer rate as the drive heats up -- rate is very fast when cool, slows down as it gets hotter. In summary, this is fine for small file transfers, but I would't recommend it for large backups or other tasks where a lot of writing needs to happen at one time.

With 128 GB of storage I can take all my files with me for backup without relying on the cloud.

This was on sale for $29.99!!! I quickly put it in my cart!! 128GB is amazing for that price when you can easily pay over $80 for that much storage. I'm a student in audio engineering & you can never have too much storage in this field, so I find myself buying usb storage whenever I see it @ a good price. Honestly, I haven't used this particular one yet but I have used this brand numerous times without any problems. Amazing for the price if I can't say anything else.

Unbelievably tiny flash drive. This is both it's greatest asset and pitfall. 128 GB packed into what looks like just the plug in part of a normal drive. You barely notice it in your computer USB port. An accessory tiny lanyard with a clip would be helpful to prevent loss. Amazing.
