This 256GB Sandisk flash drive is small, fast and a pleasure to use with all of my computers. It maintains the reputation of reliability and endurance that I expect will reflect my first Sandisk flash drive, a 256MB drive from about twenty years ago. Although I could attach it to a key chain, I like to keep the small treasure in a small valuables box.

This 256gb ultra small usb 3.1 flash drive is the perfect companion to all notebooks and even desktops for use in local storage of daily documents and non archive files. The archive files can be organized on this portable storage amount ones multiple devices and then uploaded to cheaper high volume web storage like one drive and drop box. Get at least one of these now. If you have precious can’t ever lose files than buy 2 of these, label then 1 and 2 and rotate then weekly keeping them cloned so at worst case loosing one of these you still have all the local archival keepsake files safe.

Teslas come with built-in cameras. To record them, you need to insert a flash drive into a USB port in the phone compartment. This drive is perfect because it does not intrude into the compartment and is not prone to be bent or broken if a phone is place in the compartment carelessly.
It records several weeks of dash cam activity.
Bought on sale for a good price.

First, the only bad this about this item -- there's really no way to say anything negative about this thing, except maybe, there's a "security software" that you can install which then asks you get a "pro" version of the software, but that's ok -- it's to protect your data should you inadvertently lose it.
It is small; once inserted there's just the portion that lets you grab it to pull it out. @256G there's lot of space to move things around from your desktop/laptop to other machines you own. Music -- @192kbps you can store boat loads of it.
I got 3 of these, so that says a lot.

This is a great USB stick form factor for mobile audio use. I love that I can put this in my stereo's front USB port and not have this big stick hanging out of my dash. Very discrete. The majority of the body gets consumed by the type A socket so you are left with just a little stub end sticking out. It curves over, making it very easy to pull back out.
Excellent design from a trusted name in flash memory. Can't go wrong!
Small with alot of Storage! Got it on sale for $35

I'm really enjoying this 256GB ultra fit SanDisk. The reason why I purchased it was because I needed extra storage on my HP envy x360 laptop to download more games to play. I like that it's tiny so when I plug it into my laptop, it's barely noticeable and doesn't get in the way of nearby things on my desk. Could've gone with the usually SD card but wanted to try something new and plus this was on sell for $35 rather then $70 to couldn't refuse that deal!

Got a couple of these to use in my cars. At 256GB, they hold all the music I care to have in my car. Not sure what else to say, it's a thumb drive, it either works or it doesn't. Both of mine worked fine. It gets a little toasty when transferring a lot of files. It's thin plastic, might not be good if you're actually keeping it in your pckets, or backpack (mine get plugging into my head unit and stay there till I need to update with new music.) I imagine it's easy to lose, it's TINY. I put a zip tie through the little hook loop it's got.

So far so good. I think someone said these get hot because of the size maybe? I used it to record a video from a device that was about an hour and thirty minutes. It worked fine and didn't feel hot to the touch. I reformatted it to exfat so that the video file doesn't get divided up every 4-gigabytes.

When you buy a laptop these days, the hard disks are not usually excessively large. I know we're all supposed to keep all our stuff on the cloud, I'm old school and I want it literally in my hands.
I bought this to supplement the storage on a new laptop. It's great for storing my data files and documents. And the nice thing is that it sticks so little out from the USB slot that you can keep it in and have no problem slipping into a sleeve or case.

Love the compact size and minimal protrusion while still easy to install/remove. Using it as local storage for my Blink sync module and cameras. Stored media seems to record well and easily removed when cleaning out storage space. Stays cool while in 14/7 use. Great deal @$25.
