Handle with Care

Good transfer/access speeds. Made of mostly plastic. Will have to be careful with it. Had I known it was all plastic I would have not purchased it. Prefer metal.

I'm able to upload pictures and videos... in a flash!! If you need high capacity and portable storage, this should be your choice.

Shortest protrusion I found.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The SanDisk - Ultra 256GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive has the shortest installed protrusion from the side of the computer that I was able to find in the market. This made it useful to leave installed as a second disk drive in my Surface Book 2. (The SB2 also has a SD card slot, but Microsoft did not make that slot deep enough for the SD card to lay flat. In fact, half of the SD card sticks out.) The SanDisk also comes with encryption software, so you can protect your data from being pulled out of the side of your laptop. However, I found this software clunky to use, and not completely secure. So no 5 stars. Still, encryption software is available, so no big deal. Access is very fast when using USB 3.1, and it works with USB 2.x.

Large storage for small device

Pretty much fits flush with the laptop. Only problem is the flash drive is so tiny it is easily misplaced.
