So I had this flash drive in my Tesla Model 3 car for recording live footage all the time. So there is a lot of read-write on this device and it stopped working after 6 months or so. Luckily, I fell within the 1 year warranty period and BestBuy is willing to replace the device.

Product declared capacity (256GB) is not true. It is less than that. My purchased flash drive shows 249,986,547,712 bytes under properties on Windows.

Fast and small USB 3.2 storage at a good price! This unit is great for its speed and size which is barely larger than the USB socket. It does get a bit warm with constant use.

This Flash Drive is a great way to back up your computer. USB stick drives have come a long way! I am using it with a laptop that has a flash drive and it works perfectly. I really like the small form factor because most people will hardly know it is there because it is so compact it barely sticks out. Using it with a 3.0 USB port (usually blue) makes a noticeable difference when compared to the previous USB versions. Many newer compact laptops are coming with USB C ports only so make sure the device you are going to use this with has a full size USB port or you will have to use an adapter.

Excellent drive for extra memory. Quick and simple to use. I bought it for extra storage/memory for my Chromebook and it works great. At such a great price you can't beat the quality.

I'm a dj and was in need of more storage space since laptops come with small drives now. This usb drive was on sale and even though it's smaller (256GB) than the other drives around the same price, I felt the speed and portability made up for it. I have my entire library (music I constantly use) with tons more room. Just like others stated, the usb drive gets warm/hot. I really thought it was plug and leave but you still have to eject and plug back in which is a little scary because the housing is plastic instead of aluminum like the earlier versions. Overall great tool to use for backup and or main storage.

I was looking for a low profile USB drive that was reasonably priced and would not cause issues on my Bambu Lab H2D printer. The SanDisk Ultra Fit 256GB was made to order. It fits close to the edge and does not get in the way. It provides ample memory for all of my printing needs. I recommend this USB Drive if you are looking for a reliable way to increase your memory for your Bambu Lab H2D printer.

I purchased this for use with my Bambu Labs H2D printer. The USB port is on the top of the machine and I didnt want to unintentionally end up bumping a larger drive. This has worked beautifully and great price for the storage.

When I bought a new HP Chromebook, I decided to splurge and get this also, with the intent of expanding the Chromebook's onboard storage. It turned out much better than I expected. It works exactly like the micro-SD card I transferred from my original to my new Chromebook. But I cannot believe how convenient it is. Yes, it is little and fits into the USB port and is practically unnoticeable. It never get in the way. Despite its diminutive size, it has a huge usable memory. It is large enough to store thousands of photos, music tracks, and movies with room to spare. What is best, however, is that it is a USB device. It is a snap to transfer it from my Chromebook to my desktop -- and out to the USB port on my car stereo. It is fantastic to be able to listen to my own music when I am bored with broadcast and satellite radio.

I'm writing this review on Linux running on a prior SanDisk drive just like this one, but with a lot less storage. It's on my wife's laptop so we can share the computer resources without disturbing each other's work. I've had no issues, it has run great from day one. I want to upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and thought it would be best to get another, bigger drive to do that, then port personal files over. I haven't taken the time to do that yet, but I expect no issues. Love these things! Work great and small size!

Tiny, well built, fast... This could be the perfect thumb drive. Don't recommend lending it to a coworker. Kind of thing you won't ever get back! It's also cheap so no big deal.
