The drive itself works flawlessly and never gave me issues. I use on in a MBP and another one in a work laptop. The devices are rearely removed but both cracked. They do tend to run hot which caused the plastic casing to crack and break off in the usb port in my work laptop. After reaching out to sands they tried to deny replacing but did honor it after persistence. If looking for a compact drive id recommend a metal drive as to not run into the issue i did on both drives. I have bough compact drives in the past and have never seen drives run so hot before (both sandisk and others).

Fantastically tiny thumb drive. It's so small if you have an extra USB port you'll forget it's there. It's a good cheap solution to low priority storage.

Great little thing. It does the job. I bought this for the storage of the Tesla Sentry. It records the drive and while parked. I haven’t have any issues with it getting too hot or not handling the data transfers. The car is used every day and it’s recording in 4 cameras at a time. It’s very low profile so it’s barely there plus there is less risk of damaging it.

Got this to add additional storage to a 128gb surface laptop its perfect super fast super cheap super small i leave in the laptop and now its like having 2 ssd what else can i say

This USB stick has many advantages. It's very small, it's very cheap, and its capacity is very large. It won't affect you anything when you plug it into your laptop. I strongly recommend you to buy it.

Tiny little thing with a lot of storage, fast read/write speeds and works as expected. Haven't noticed it getting hot but also haven't tried transferring large files yet. Fits perfect on a keychain for on the go use.

The SanDisk 256gb is nice and compact. Super Fast. I’m using it to run Linux on a stick. The compact design allows me to leave the drive in the computer without it interfering with daily use. I got this on a top deal sale. So great value for the money.

It is pretty small thing w/ an unforeseen power. That design it is perfect and secure away from wires or nocking it out. A smart plug-in for my laptop thanks.

This is a great USB flash Drive. I love how small it is and yet holds all I need.

Bought two of these little guys on sale for a song (literally). I fit my entire music collection (about 400 CDs ripped in lossless .wav format) and plugged one into my television, and one into a SYNC port in my car. I can listen to my entire music collection while driving without having to use a subscription service. Small profile means it won't get hit, broke or knocked out when I toss other things into the phone charger compartment or when I'm plugging things into the television. I hope they sell more like it. It's extremely useful and I will be buying more.

Fast and easy to use. Small size! Large capacity! This is great to use in my car to watch movies on rear media screens. Does not take up space after plugging in. Highly recommend

Super fast drive and super small, barely sticks out of my laptop. Also, what a great price for 256Gb! Used to backup a MacBook air. Only issue I have with it is the plastic body of the actual plug seems a bit flimsy and flexes - it would have been nice is the USB plug part was metal.

This is going to be great to download music to take on my road trips. It’s very conveniently in my car. It has a lot of memory for many songs.

It works as intended. This item was on sale when I bought it and its small size was appealing. I use it in my automobile with stored music.
