    ROKU incompatible

I purchased this to increase the available memory on my Roku so I would avoid those constant "Chanel Loading %...." prompts. I really only needed a 2GB micro sd card, but this was on sale and also the lowest GB size they had in store. I double checked with a salesperson to make sure this is what t I needed and the guy assured me it was. I got home and inserted it in but my ROKU would not recognize it. I tested it on my MacBook to make sure it wasn't faulty and it was fine. After some researching, I found that apparently, all Sandisk cards are NOT COMPATIBLE with ROKU products. I don't understand how or why they don't work on these devices, but they just don't. Nothing I tried worked. I have no use for this card, but I'm not close enough to best buy to go out of my way to return it for the few bucks I paid for it, so I'm just going to keep it. Maybe one day, it will come in handy but for now, it ended up being a waste of time and money for me.

I bought this item to go with the GoPro. I returned the go pro and this ScanDisk is now pointless to me. It was expensive, so now I simply have an expensive SD card that can do everything my other cards can do but I'm out more money because the store refuses to accept it even though it was bought in tandem with the GoPro. This card is silly as well because the little inside piece is constantly falling out. The product description says it's good for rugged use, the thing keeps falling apart and if I'm out and have to switch out cards, I run risk of losing everything because this little card can't keep it together. Absolutely make sure you need this style before purchasing. It was not worth it for the price and inappropriate for rugged use.

Replacement for older SD camera cards

I had to replace my Wife's tablet recently. Its main function was viewing picture on vacations, swapping the SD card from her camera to the full sized SD slot on the tablet. Unfortunately when replacing the tablet, I found that full sized SD slots were no longer available on any mid-priced tablets. I bought her a very low priced new tablet and a couple of the cards with their full sized adapters and she is back in business for a fraction of the price of the only tablet I could find with a full sized slot. The camera speed actually seems to be faster as well.

I'm old enough to remember kilobytes and megabytes. I bought this camera several years ago after I dropped my old one and it messed up the lens. It had a new feature where you could take a picture of yourself; what a stupid idea. Anyway, even then it had 4 GB which seemed like plenty and I downloaded to my laptop routinely but for some reason I didn't like to remove pictures from the camera memory. I started deleting duplicates and "bad pictures" but eventually I still ran out of memory. I believe this was $14.99 and now I can put four times as many pictures on my camera. Unbelievable.

I wasn't looking for the best card out there, just a card that gets the job done for me at a decent write/read speed, and at great price... Yes you can buy a higher priced one but this one will do the job just the same.... Besides it's water proof.. just wipe it off and keep going... 16Gb's is a lot of record time and that is what I mainly use this for video's..... I can load them up with thousands of pictures, audio books, movies and many other things. This is a good size for many things, like Movies for tables... They are easy to pop in and out with the card reader..... Great value at a good price....!! Thanks

This card fits into the micro SD slot for cell phones, tablets, security cameras and other devices with that type of memory slot. 16GB is sufficient for my needs so why pay extra for a larger capacity card? I prefer not to have a larger card for photos/videos because of I do not want to risk the loss of files if the card is damaged or fails, so I have multiple micro cards and copy files to computer hard drives and delete files on micro card to start fresh on the device.

If you plan to buy a microSD card, do not buy it through Amazon or eBay, there are a lot of fakes out there, and Best Buy is one of the very few stores that have genuine microSD cards, plus you can simply get it replaced through Best Buy if it stops working during the warranty period, unlike online retailers where they claim that they have a warranty but never do anything because again, they are fake. I trust Best buy for all my electronic purchases

I purchased this card at Best Buy for a Raspberry Pi project. It worked perfectly. I purchased it at Best Buy because of bad reviews of "knock-off" cards being sold at the "other" major online retailer. Some people were complaining of getting cards from that retailer with less memory and were concluding that they were not genuine. This card from Best Buy came packaged and sealed up by the manufacturer and was full memory as advertised!

I wanted to buy an SD Card. I did but it is a micro in an adapter. I hope it works in my application..but I can use it elsewhere if it doesn't. It is for a trail camera. Not BBY's fault. The description was clear and I was in a hurry and wanted the smallest and cheapest storage I could get. I got Small and Cheap. Still don't know if it will work in my camera. Lesson learned - read the find print. But I saved the receipt so I can return it.

It's a MicroSDHC card, 16 GB. This one was $7 on Black Friday but I have been using these chips for years. It holds a gazillion songs and it is fast enough to even hold video as you record it. Is it the best card for long term reliability? No. Is it well worth it for normal and non-mission critical uses like your tunes and videos of your so cute puppies? Yes. Is it a lot better than the no name chips at similar prices? Yes. So it hits that sweet spot for price and performance.

This is a very good brand, and I will definitely buy more later on. For a super low price, this tiny guy came with a nice capacity of 16gb, which is plenty for what I use it for. Great for pictures, videos, music; whatever suits your fancy. I think the only things wrong are that it feels like it could snap if you bent it, and it's super tiny. Because these microSDs are so small, they can be very easy to lose, so try your best to keep track of it. All in all, I definitely recommend this little guy if you need a quick 16gb for a low price.

As the "bread and butter" micro-SD card in Sandisk's line up one might expect this to be just OK. After all, there are the upgrades to this- the Extreme and Extreme Pro cards. I am sure there is a very clear use for those but there is nothing "less" about the Ultra Plus. It is fast, like a car that can do 0- 60 in 6 seconds. The one that can do that in 4 seconds or 5 seconds are faster for sure but 6 seconds is in no way slow. I got this on sale for well less than a $1.00/GB (USD) so this a fabulous purchase for many reasons.

16Gb is plenty for my rear-facing dashcam

When I bought a new dashcam, I relegated my old one to rear-facing. The mount failed, so I removed the memory card and put it in a "safe place" until I could rig enough mount. Of course, I couldn't find it when it was time to put it back in service. It was faster to make a run to Best Buy than to hunt for the old card. I don't care if it keeps overwriting old files because the only time I'll need it is to document a rear-end crash, and that'll take way less than 16Gb.

constantly buying, put entire CD collection onto 64GB and have in each car's dashboard slot. all Arlo, d-link,, ezviz cams recording circularly w/o problems. With adapters, easy to transfer data among computers or watch drone flown videos. Also, can download videos for later insertion into phone so can watch w/o internet when "off the grid" or on commercial flights. NOTE, tools to download videos keep changing, and you need to be wary of virus potential.

This is a great micro sd card. So far, it has been very reliable. I am using it for taking low-restitution images of 2MB or less, and did not need a higher capacity card. If you are shooting much higher resolution images, and many during one shoot, go with a higher capacity card. Also, go with a higher capacity card if you are shooting HD or 4K video. Video uses a lot of storage space, so the higher, the better. Go with at least a 64GB card for video.

I had purchased the Nikon P900 and needed a Memory card. I went to Best Buy unsure of which card to get , spoke with an associate and she not only showed me where to get one but took the time to explain how to insert the card in the camera the correct way. This was very helpful and appreciated. The card is great I have taken a lot of pictures and no issues to report. It would take a long time to even fill up this card. Great price also!

Wanted to expand my capacity while training with my raspberry pi 3 to better understand the inner workings of Linux. I purchased two 16gb SD cards on sale. Working with the numerous rasp pi 3 projects has me changing out SD cards so I can return later on to update or upgrade the previous project. SD cards have been partitioned and formatted many times with no issues. I would purchase again or even the 32gb model next. I should get more raspberry pi 3's.

SanDisk cards, are the best storage cards on the market. I'm a photographer and I need the best for what i do for a living. In more than 15 years of using SanDisk I've never had one fail. The Ultra PLUS 16GB microSDHC UHS-I Memory Card along with the CF versions of SanDisk cards give me the assurance of reliability that I need not only for my cameras but my phones and tablets too. Want the best? Buy the best! SanDisk!

I bought the SanDisk - Ultra PLUS 16GB microSDHC UHS-I Memory Card at Best Buy; I did not notice that the package had been opened - and that 1st card did NOT work. I went back to Best Buy and they exchanged for another (unopened) package - and it worked well the first time - and continues to work well. Best Buy also confirmed that they do NOT put opened packages on the shelf - somehow this package slipped through.

I was looking for an good SD card that wouldn't break the bank. I didn't need a lot of memory and I didn't want to pay an arm and leg (which is starting to happen with SD cards). I was able to pick up this card for $10 and it has served me well. It's reliable and I like the fact that I was able to get a microSD card because I can use it in the future with other devices as more and more devices are moving to the micro form factor.
