GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT SANDISK CARDS SanDisk sells cards in various classes. Basically, the higher the class of card, the faster the SD card saves the file (anywhere from 20 MB/second to 95 MB/second). This is important if you want to take advantage of advanced camera functions such as fast action shots, continuous burst mode and multiple frames per second, and HD video (1080p). Photos are written to your card almost instantly at the higher classes so you'll get your best shot, and you’ll save time moving it all from your camera to your computer. If you use these camera functions with a lower class SD card, you may lose data and experience dropouts and stuttering. ABOUT THIS SANDISK CLASS 10 SD CARD This is a Class 10 SD card with write speeds of 48 MB/second. This card is great for compact-to-midrange point-and-shoot digital cameras and camcorders. I have used these cards in point and shoot cameras and game/trail cameras for the better part of a decade. I have also used some other brands. However, I've never had a SanDisk card malfunction like the other cards I've used have despite operating in below 0 degree to over 100 degrees conditions and running them through the washer/dryer. The manufacturer claims these cards are temperature proof, water proof, shock proof, and x-ray proof. These Class 10 cards are completely compatible with cameras, laptops, tablets, and other devices that support the SDHC and SDXC formats, and are capable of recording hours of HD video (1080p). These cards vary in their storage capacity (16, 32 and 64, and 128 GB). CONCLUSION The best thing about these cards is that they come with a lifetime limited warranty. However, I doubt that you'd ever use it. If you want quality, you can't go wrong with these SanDisk cards. I hope my review helps!

A great card for a questionable price

Please note that when I purchased this card, it was on sale at Best Buy for about half their normal price. I say this, because half their normal price still seems to be high compared with everywhere else I buy these cards from (for the record, SanDisk 48mbps Ultra Plus "Silver" cards). I purchase these cards because they are fast enough for HD video and I've never had one go bad on me (which I can't say about their "gold" micro SD cards). I never delete these cards, even after I've backed the pictures up on a hard drive, so I'm very price-conscious about them. I was there (at the Best Buy in Millcreek, Erie, PA) buying a tripod, and on my way to a shoot, so I picked one up for the convenience. The next time I went to the store, I was floored by how much they were overcharging for them (almost $70 opposed to $30 everywhere else), so when I filled out the survey they sent me for that trip I let them know that the outrageous price kept me from buying again. This led to a personal call from the store's manager who was a little irate that I didn't ask about price matching, which they do. I apologized for not asking about this, and then proceeded to exclaim that when I am looking for a product such as this I usually buy for convenience, and having to talk to an employee, get another store's advertisement or waiting for the employee to call and get that information was definitely NOT convenient. I'm not trying to disparage Best Buy, and I'm certainly not going to complain about the quality of this very reliable memory card. All that I'm saying is check the price before you purchase - if enough people are aware then maybe Best Buy will change its suggested retail price to match y'know, reality.

This is an ultra-fast memory card for professional DSLR or HD video cameras. The card is rated as SDXC, UHS-1, speed class 10. SDXC is a memory storage formatting and accessing standard. It allows for fast read/write access with high-capacity cards, but it requires that the device doing the reading/writing (camera or computer) be SDXC compatible. If the device is not SDXC compatible, it may not be able to read the card, or it may ask to format the card. If you see the message “Format this card?” don't do it, since formatting by a non-SDXC device will downgrade the storage system to SDHC, which will be slower. UHS-1 stands for Ultra High Speed, and refers to the bus, or data transfer speed, which is rated at 80 Mb/s for this card. The speed class of this card is 10. All together, these ratings means that this card is a great choice for high-speed recording, necessary for DSLR cameras that take photos of over 20 megapixels, or for video recording.

The SanDisk - Ultra Plus 32GB SDHC Class 10 is a great way to store music, movies and digital security camera surveillance, it's a effective way to double any video storage. The 32GB is the maximum amount of storage for this card at the current sale price for $22.99 or reg. price for $59.99, it was definitely the best bargain. The memory card works great on cell phones as well as cameras, I bought another for my security camera, and I am buying another to extend the memory on my smart phone. Great product, using mine for my cam camera, and it's super good for storing lots of pictures. It adds tons of data space for any cell phone or digital cameras. Easy to insert in the phone or camera and easy to locate on the phone to transfer pictures and downloadable apps.

Adding this lens to your equipment makes more of a difference than getting a camera after not having one at all. An absolute game changer in terms of quality, performance and overall quality. Trust me, after lots of research you do NOT want the sigma equivalent, you do NOT want the tamron equivalent, and you definitely don't want the f4 version of this lens. I took me years to finally pull the trigger on buying this lens but i can safely say after using it now I would have made the sacrifice years ago. Trust me, yes its a lot but 2 shutter clicks in and you will never regret owning this lens for as long as you own it. 200% quality through and through.

utilized this memory card on a safari trip to africa, it held 1500 hi res pictures and I still had over 800 more pictures I could take. The speed was not a factor and I took short video clips (less than 1-2 minutes) with this as well. when having over 1300 FINE photo's and utilizing the video clips, I saw that at most I would have had 18 minutes of video time. So if you are planning on taking long video's AND 1000's of pictures you may want to get a higher capacity. This being said, although the camera does take awesome video's and is capable of it the memory card would be a major factor in storage space. it worked very well for my short video clips and 1500 pictures.

Well these cards are always good but they are even better on sale I was able to score this 32gb card for 19.99 and the speed seems to be holding up fine in my DSLR. the only issue I have it when I got home I looked online and found out the 64gb version was on sale for 25.99 so I was a lil bummed cause I tossed the packaging away and was unable to swap it out for the larger capacity unit also I was unable to purchase the 64gb unit as well due to the next day the pricing was back at its normal rate of 59.99 or something like that. I'll just have to keep an eye out for the next time they have a sale like that and grab a couple.

This card is large in storage space, but small in stature! This is ideal for storing those special memories you have captured! Make sure that you compliment this purchase with an additional storage device either on your computer or via an external hard drive! With the availability of cloud storage, you may wish to even back up those memories that way as well! Better to be safe than sorry if the card is lost or some other catastrophic event occurs such as a fire or theft! Your memory is good but fails over time! Your memory card or other storage device works better over a longer period! Just remember to back stuff up to keep those memories fresh!

Went into Best Buy to purchase a camera memory card. Could not find them initially, and apparently a sales rep saw me meandering around haplessly, and asked if he could help me locate anything! I appreciatively said, "Well, yes, actually. Where are the memory cards?" He graciously not only told me exactly where they were but walked me across the store to that sales area, and continued to assist me with relevant advice on memory chips (e.g. what to look for, what I may need given the purpose/usage, etc.) Great service, and a personable sales guy as well. I could not ask for a more positive purchase experience, really.

I can't comment on the cost of the memory card, when I purchased my camera, the card was included as part of the package. I will say that the card is great. It seems to be fast enough to handle anything my camera has thrown at it, burst mode and video. I was amazed at the capacity, I have a 24 megapixel Nikon camera and at the finest mode, I'm shown as having over 1,800 shots available. At my normal resolution, I have over double that amount. As a result, storage space is not an issue for me. Capacity is more than generous for my casual use.

I have used this memory card for 4 months now. I have a Nilon D3200 camera. I have taken both video and rapid sports shots. The first sports event I took pictures of was a golf tournament. I was able to take rapid fire shots during swings, and memory card kept up with camera. If you flip through the shots after taken, there would be as many as 15 pix in the 2-3 seconds - and each was crystal clear. Some golfers even used these shots to review thier swing and footing. I have also taken short videos with the memory card in camera. Clear and exceptional. Highly recommend this memory card. Zero negatives to report.

I needed a SD Card with more memory. My camera is a Canon Power Shot SD1000 Camera. I found exactly the SD Card with the 32GB memory capacity that I wanted with the assistance of a very knowledgeable salesperson. My local Best Buy store in Thousand Oaks, CA had it in stock at a very reasonable price. My camera is several years old, but still takes fantastic pictures. However, the newer SD Cards are not compatible with my camera. Fortunately, Best Buy had the right one.

Occupying a little over 1 square inch, this compact technological wonder will change the way you think about storage. Boasting 32 hefty gigabytes, you can throw away those pesky floppy disks you’ve been hanging on to because this monster can hold over 40,000 double sided 3.5’s!!! Stuff your worries in a sack because this baby can also hold a couple thousand cat photos or selfies at the highest resolution your heart desires. Make no mistake, this little piece of plastic will change your life!

From what I gather online a 32gb SD card may hold up to 3000 to 4000 digital photos. I am using it now and it seems to work fine both adding photos and deleting photos. I have not given it a full capacity test though. I am just getting acquainted with my camera. I have recorded both some photos and a few small test videos and it does fine so far. I do expect to buy much larger capacity SD card for trips to prevent video/photos from exhausting the SD card space. But, I believe this is a quality card for its design. enjoy

Today the number of MB the chip holds is less of an issue, 32MB will hold a huge number of pictures, and instead purchases IMHO should pay a lot more attention to the chip's TRANSFER RATE, found on the chip's label in (smaller) print. This chip's transfer rate is 48 mb/s. That is fast enough for most of us. If you are shooting large images, like 20MB saved as RAW you need to move up to, say, 80 mb/s with a corresponding increase in cost. BUT you won't notice your camera taking a coffee break to move the data from the capture point to the memory point every time you take a picture.

This card is great for photos or video. I use it with a T5i, and the quality is very good. Most of the time I use it for photos, and I have never been able to fill it up! (I think you can take around 7000 photos!) As far as videos, it's great but only last about 30 minutes of actual footage. (If you need more time for videos you can simply buy a larger size of the same card) I bought this size because it was on sale and the 64GB wasn't. (I think it was $35 and the 64GB was 90) The card is capable of handling 1920x1080 at 24 frames per second with no issues of any kind.

I got this SanDisk - Ultra PLUS 32GB SDHC UHS-I Memory Card for my child to use in his Nintendo 3DS for extra storage so he can keep more data at the ready. It works great and has solved his problem! I have purchased several of these memory cards for other uses as well (transferring photos, etc.) and they always work great and never fail me. The price is always good at Best Buy for this item and brand. Excellent! Recommend!

I have used the SanDisk 32GB memory card in my Canon and as shown on the card its maximum read speed is 40MB/s. For a digital camera it is the write speed that is the determining factor when the camera writes large image files or HD movies. I found out when researching different memory cards that the "class #" indicates the write speed in terms of types of usage. Class 10 is need for large image formats and especially HD (1920x1080) movies. As expected SanDisk makes a good quality product and I highly recommended it condidering also the lifetimewarranty.

I often attempt to capture the many photo opportunies in my mind's eye, and yet I have recently found that I can only store one or two black and white images. So, I was forced to purchase a digital camera (Sony RX-100), and then I went crazy shooting everything in sight. It was around that time I discovered the Sandisk 32 GB Memory Card. Relief! Now I can quit stressing over whether my memory will retain the image of a view for more than an hour. I now have this card to supplant my own limitations, and boy is it good!

I only use Sandisk cards. At 32GB this one is great for all types of photo and video use in my DSLR. Never buy the largest card you can. Its better to have more than one. Would you have travelled all the way to Australia and shot everything on one roll of film? NO. Would you have felt safe if your wedding photographer shot your entire wedding on one roll of film? NO. So why would you want that in the digital age?
