Well worth the tricky installation

We are in a rental and didn’t want to mount the new tv we got to the wall. We purchased this strap and, while installing was a tad tricky, it was SO worth it to help protect our investment. We can’t stop the kittens from getting on the mantel where the tv lives, but we used to this ensure the tv doesn’t move, and no kitties will be tossed outside for damaging the tv (joking, of course...)

In reality, the spacers were the wrong length for my particular tv. I never found a list of compatible brands/models, but a quick trip to Lowe’s solved the problem. Strap anchors to the back of the tv, and can be attached to the wall or cabinet to prevent tipping. It’s a good heavy strap with solid connectors and it really works great!

Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a lot of action in their home, either entertaining people, or having lots of kids in the house, it will give you some piece of mind that your TV likely isnt going anywhere and wont be damaged(from a fall at least). Make sure you properly install it!

We tried to block his way to TV but it's a long term solution and he figures out a way. Hence we bought this strap and secured the TV. It's pretty solid and hooks up to the wall. So far so good. Though it's not easy to install without tools.

The instructions offered setup examples for a number of different surfaces and layouts, and all the parts you would need for each setup were included. The way the straps tighten made it easy to put my TV where I wanted it on the entertainment center and cinch it down so it won't go any further.
