This was perfect for the 50" TV we purchased and it was easy to install.

Everyone has installed a TV mount at some point in their life and for many of us we have it down to an exact science. However, Sanus has completely changed the game here with this tv mount. First right out of the box this thing has some heft to it and you can ensure yourself it was built well and can hold the 70 pounds it advertises and honestly probably more. Aside from the quality though the install process was where this mount started standing out. Gone are the days of having to perfectly align a bracket across multiple studs on your wall as this only requires two lag bolts vertical from each other. It also includes the template for your wall so you can simply align the paper template and drill your pilot holes with ease. Then you simply screw the lag bolts into the mount on the wall. The great thing about the wall mount is that it has covers that go over the bolts to build on that premium aesthetic. Along with the bolt covers there are also built in cable management covers on the wall mount portion to help secure the cables running to the TV. Mounting the TV has not changed much as you simply screw the brackets on the back of the TV and then attach it to the wall mount. Once you have the TV attached to the wall mount this is where Sanus has completely changed the game as there is a screw on the bottom that you use a hex key to either raise or lower the TV on the mount. Altogether it can be raised/lowered up to 6 inches. This allows either plenty of room for error or for those perfectionists it allows for future proofing as the TV can be raised or lowered in the future in case you may get a larger/smaller TV that you need to mount or potentially a soundbar that you want to go underneath the TV where you can then raise the TV with ease without having to remount the entire TV. Once you have the TV up and adjusted to your desired height the TV can then be extended from the wall nearly two feet. It can also be tilted horizontally and vertically. This essentially allows for a near endless possibility of viewing angles and is actually perfect for a TV you want to mount in a corner, which I will say it is extremely hard to find a good corner TV mount. When making these adjustments the TV moves with ease and is very fluid though once you have it set to your desired position the mount does not drift in the slightest and the TV stays right where you have it. However, if you do wish for it to remain flush with the wall it extends just over two inches for a near seamless look. Overall, it seems has though Sanus has taken a step back here to evaluate TV mounts and has created a mount that is improved in nearly every facet. So, if you are in the market for a TV mount for this size of TV, I don`t see how you could go with anything aside from this mount by Sanus.

This product works very well as intended. I've actually purchased two. One was installed professionally and one by my son. Both times were seamless.

Works well. It is well designed and constructed and it is nice that you can adjust it to a range of angles in order to better make use of it.

Fair price but I do not recommend using this mount due to it only being able to be mounted on 1 stud ehich makes it difficult to center the tv.

Love this new sanus mount with the vertical adjustment feature.

Intelligent design and generally well made. Biggest flaw is its streamlined design where only two screws hold it to the wall--e.g., it becomes critical the stud is reliably found and the screws are perfectly centered into that stud.

Sturdy mount and easily adjusted. Cable hider is useful.

Bracket that was suggested was actually perfect. I was worried but the guys knew what they were doing!

perfect piece to get the tv off the dresser and be able to turn it in the room space so we can watch in bed at night and push against the wall in the day.

This TV mount is perfect for the area it is being placed. It moves out and in, up and down, and left and right, allowing the tv to be seen from anywhere in the room. Perfect for our needs.
