    The mount is well-made and quite sturdy, and mostly functions as advertised, and Sanus' online height calculator works reasonably well. However, note that the actual vertical movement of the mount is 6.5", not the claimed 8". It's apparent from the instructions and videos that the position of the locking screw that limits vertical position was changed to be higher on the mount at some point, reducing vertical movement to approximately 6.5" inches. Sanus/BestBuy need to update the product description appropriately.

    We bought a Sony 75 in TV around New Years. Hooked it up to our old wall mount that was rated for 125 lbs. While the wall mount its self held on to the wall okay, the swivel part couldn't handle the weight of the TV. Bought this SANUS Elite to replace it, and it works like a dream. I like that it has 3in lag screws instead of the 2in ones my old TV mount had. Also, the 4D movement is really easy to move around.

    This is a really good mount. It is very versatile. I currently have a 77 tv connected but if I decide to downsize or upsize, I can easily move the TV up or down 4" without remounting whole mount.

    We purchased the SANUS Elite as we wanted a TV wall mount that had a wider rotational motion than the other ones that were available for sale. We can fully tilt the tv in any direction and there is no danger of it coming loose from the wall mount. Highly recommend this product.
