I was mounting it above a fireplace. The wall was also going to be visible from the front door/foyer entrance. I did not want to see any mechanisms. This was a perfect mounting system for my needs. Easy to install

Can adjust height somewhat when attaching rails to the back of the TV. Can slide TV horizontally after placing on the mount. Taking TV off mount and putting it back on again was also pretty easy.

Installation was quick and without pain. Just one small thing that I do not like: two strings that you have to pull if you need to release tv. It is not so easy to hide them. Except this issue evening else is good.

I decided to save the $139.99 (plus tax) and do it with my 16 year old son. It took us about 45 minutes to put up, was perfectly level and looks perfect. I would recommend this product.

They make it easy to change the size of TV on it, and the sliding track lets you center different sized TVs easily. Wish the hinge feature was a little more pronounced to make it easier to attach wires but that is a minor inconvenience.

We bought 2 and mounted 2 Sony 75" TVs. If you want to hug the wall, this is the mount. Just remember there is no tilt.
