Does this do what it's supposed to do? Yes. However, pay close attention to which version you det. This really should be a double gang wall plate on both ends. It is an incredibly tight fit getting more than three cables through the bottom end. Now consider I got five through. 3 HDMI, Ethernet and an RJ6 for the antenna in the attic into this. Way too small. Get the version of this that is double gang on both ends....

There is an extension cord coming out of the wall to another power outlet. Did not expect any wires or cables to be extruding from the wall. Do not spend $447 and change for this installation. Well I hope recommend recommend this to a friend

Incredibly easy to install. Either a drywall saw or in my case an oscillating saw works perfect. The product comes with a cutout to size for both outlets. No additional holes made as the screws lock in from behind the drywall. Bought 4 so far installed 3 and i can’t see a single wire/cord. Best part was jumping from another outlet so no electrical work required.

This wall plate was great in hiding all the cords. Very esthetic in appearance. Geeks knew how to install everything properly. It looks amazing. Installation of this wall plate went well. We were very pleased with everything about the purchase and installation.

I have installed this product in my other wall mount TV installations in other rooms. Easy to install. I use a sharp box cutter to cut out the hole. Template is great . Easy to attach , no worries here. I would recommend that when you run the cords through the wall you attach a few pull strings for future use. Excellent product to make DIY people happy and a professional looking installation.

This is great product for running cables up the wall internally. My only compliant is the housing is pretty big so if needing it to fit within the TV wall mount it makes it hard to fit between the brackets. Besides that this is a great product. Would give it 4.5 to 4.8 if I could but only whole starts are allowed. Probably my favorte feature is that all itesm to install it are included. It came with a decent quality dry wall saw.

This is exactly what I needed when I mounted my TV on the wall. I really didnt want to have to worry about running electricity up to behind the TV and also run the cables behind the wall as well. This did both in one step. In addition, it lets you plug the bottom outlet into an existing surge protector which alleviates any need to hide one behind the TV or not have one at all. If you can work a stud finder, poke saw, screw driver, you can install this. Just be sure you know what is behind the wall, I needed to avoid a refrigerator water line and outlet which was on the other side of the wall where my kitchen was. I avoided them as expected, but found that I had to drill 1.5" pilot holes through a support between the studs in order to fish the cables through. Plan 6 times, measure 2 times, cut once.

This in wall cable passes through was easy to install. Being able to hide the cable is huge when mounting your TV. The only issue I had was the bottom plate had one of the screw inserts caked up with plastic and then it stripped out a bit, causing it to free spin a bit, I would like to believe this was just my problem and not all of them but I cannot confirm that.

Used to mount a new 65in TV. Installation was straightforward, but I would not say easy. It hides the wires to the TV and if place in a good location behind the TV nothing can be seen. If the wall you are mounting the TV too is an insulated wall, fishing the wires from the upper part to the lower part can be challenging, but the will be true for any behind the drywall installation. With this, no patching of the drywall will be required.
