Does exactly what it was intended to do. Used 3m tape to mount to the wall. Still have to paint it. It's a pain to remove the cover, but that's because of how I mounted it.

I purchased this product to run the cables from my wall-mounted television down to my media stand. I would typically run the wires through the wall. But my current apartment explicitly forbids it. So my goal was to find the least noticeable way to run the cables and this fit the description. When installed, it is barely noticeable. Additionally, installation is quick and easy. It’s sturdy, so you might have trouble cutting it if that is your plan. But I appreciate the strong build quality. Overall, good product.

I bought this cord cover kit along with my wall mount for my 60" TV. This is a great alternative to running the wires behind the wall especially for those that live in an apartment and won't be there long term. I'm not very handy so I had a friend install the mount and the cover. The cover was super easy even I could have done it...maybe. It comes in two pieces back cover and front cover. I have a total of 5 cords inside it ( TV power, 2 HDMI, Optical Audio and USB for hard drive). Taking off the front cover is a little difficult. I think it's best to start by pulling on the bottom portion first and work your way up. The walls in my apartment are white so no need to paint the cover since it blends in perfectly.
