We wanted to mount our recently purchased 70 inches outdoor TV to our backyard wall and was looking for a mount that is designed to provide a reliable and versatile mount solution and this model fit all our requirements. Main key features is its full-motion capability, allowing it to adjust the TV position and viewing angle for optimal viewing comfort. This is a solid well built with durable materials and is designed to withstand various weather conditions like sunlight, rain and temperature fluctuations. Installation of this mounts is relatively straightforward like other mounts. It comes with comprehensive instructions and all the hardware required. Once installed, the full-motion functionality of this mount is great and the tilt, swivel and extension from the wall is a great option for viewing at perfect angle for the backyard movie night. This mount’s compatibility ranges from 65 to 90 inches ensures that it can accommodate a wide range of TV sizes. It greatly provides smooth and fluid motion of the mount ensures easy adjustment without any noticeable instability or wobbling and holds the TV securely in place, even during windy conditions. Only drawback is this mount is little extensive compared to other options on the market but the performance and quality it delivers is worth the investment for long term and peace of mind. As I recently received a TV from a neighbor, I wanted to mount it outside on our patio. The Sanus model VODLF125-B2 Outdoor Full-Motion Premium TV Wall Mount was offered to me to review by Best Buy and I immediately agreed! The Sanus oudoor TV mount arrived well packaged and in perfect dondition. It is quite heavy compared to my indoor mounts and much mor challenging to install as I had to mount it into studs through a stucco exterior. The measurements to get it at the right height and centered on my wall were also challenging. With the help of a friend, we were able to get it where I wanted it. The Sanus outdoor mount is very well thought out and well built. It comes with lockdowns to prevent the wind from moving it and it comes with padlock-ready parts to prevent the theft of the television. The mount also is full-motion from side-to-side and tilting up and down. It is equipped to withstand use outdoors in the elements and is much more solidly built than any of my indoor TV wall-mounts. The Sonus Outdoor Full-Motion wall mount will accomodate telelvision sets from 40-85" in size and handled the wieght of the 75" television I mounted on it with no issues.

The Sanus - Premium Outdoor Full-Motion Mount for TVs that are 40"-85" in size is a good mount. It comes packaged in a sleek box that’s easy to load in your vehicle. The packaging is also easy to open and everything inside of the packaging can be taken out with ease. They have a QR code that’s displayed in the owner’s manual and paper packaging. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much luck with the website they wanted me to visit that would help with assembling the mount. When I tempted to visit the website from my smartphone I receive an alert that the website was not safe to visit. I still proceeded anyway. After proceeding, it did not take me to the tutorial video as instructed. Instead, it just took me to the homepage of their website. From there I had to search through menus to find the model number for my mount, where I was then able to view the videos. The mount itself, works great and the materials used are high in quality. They also included lag bolts that are galvanized that should be of no issue when used outdoors. Overall, it’s a good mount for my TV. I just with the QR code setup worked as it should.

I already had a bracket mounted in my lanai. I wanted to install this to see if it was stronger and better built. The packaging and instructions were clear. More importantly this moves smooth when adjusting the tv angle and folds flat smoothly. I can tell my the thickness of the materials that this is a better product than what I had. All of the mounting bolts were included for mounting onto wood so nothing extra would be needed. However my install was into concrete so I needed to get new bolts from the local hardware store but to be expected. The only issue I have is the price for the bracket should have included hardware for most installation scenarios since not every application is wood based. I also like that I am able to lock the tv in place like when we have strong storms. Also the tv extends 25” so I can really move it in many angles in the back area. It tilts up and down easily to move away from the sun glare. I think this is about as good as one can expect from a mounting bracket. The only thing that remains to be seen is how it holds up over time with respect to rusting in the Florida humidity.

I really like Sanus mounts. I have a few already and when I saw that they had an outdoor full-motion mount for larger TVs I had to get one. They provide all that you need including detailed instructions with clear pictures of the task. The instructions for how to mount to the exterior of a building is clear as I was concerned about where to mount on the exterior of a building. Once you have it complete it is very easy to connect the mount to the tv. Be careful when you choose your mount as the full motion went a little higher than I anticipated. It is very smooth and I like that I can tilt it to the right viewing angle. I work with where the sun is so it is nice to have full motion as to if you just had a tilt it probably would be hard to view the TV at certain times of the day. I like that it can fold up to a few inches off the wall. When extended out it doesn't bounce it just stays in place. The one last feature I really like is you can place a padlock on the mount so no one can just detach and take the TV. Great mount.

This thing is heavy, which indicates quality. This wall Mount is beautifully lacquered and built like a brick house…solid. This will weather the outdoor elements nicely. My biggest issue is I have to buy lag mounts for masonry as only wood lag bolts are included. That is worth a full star given the price point. Once I got my lag bolts and proper masonry drill bits and helper, away I went. About hour later the Mount is secured to my rear outside brick wall. My helper and I attached my 65 inch mini led tv. Thankfully these large screen TVs are lite nowadays. The mounting vesa hardware was easy to set up onto my tv and voila, it was on. The silky smooth movement can extend your tv from the wall roughy 24-25 inches out but flush Mount to my wall keeps it to a minuscule 3”. The Mount has locks to ensure once you find your perfect position that they can be locked to avoid accidental movement or loss of that perfect position. The security lock to keep tv from being stolen is a nice feature but in truth if the crooks are in the back yard, they probably will have the equipment to get it off but it does detour the run of the mill thieves. All in all a good price point for a rock solid mount with locking position capability, good weather resistance paint and silky smooth positional movement adjustments.

I needed an outdoor TV mount for installation on a brick wall on a porch. The Sanus VODLF125 is the perfect solution. My favorite feature is the ability to pull the TV out from the wall and position it at various angles, then lock it firmly in place with the twist of a couple knobs. My mounting situation required placing a few fender washers under the bolt locations going into the brick because my brick surface was slightly uneven. I was able to acquire stainless steel fender washers at my local home improvement store, and adding them as necessary resulted in a perfectly flat and stable mounting position. The instructions note that Sanus will supply a concrete anchor kit P/N CMK1 if you call them at 1-800-359-55520. I was already into the installation, so I picked some up from Lowes, but if you're ordering this and making plans, might as well get the ones the engineers at Sanus chose. I already mentioned the adjustment and locking feature, but I also like a few other features of this mount. The heavy duty powder coat finish and the stainless steel hardware promise long-term durability. The "TV Interface", i.e. the brackets that attach the TV to the mount offer an enormous range of adjustment that should fit any TV you choose. Finally, the padlock capability for preventing the theft of your TV is very nice. Overall, this is a very well thought out and versatile mount that will support a wide range of televisions for your outdoor viewing pleasure. Highly recommended!

I have had an indoor full motion wall mount for my indoor TV for years. I love it so when we started planning our outdoor entertainment area I started looking for quality mounts. I chose the Sanus Outdoor Premium Large Full-Motion Mount for TVs 40"-85" as opposed to the fixed or tilt mount because I like to move the TV for viewing when grilling in one area of the yard as well seated around the campfire in another area and the full motion allows me to adjust the viewing area for all my needs. I like the full control I have with this mount. I love this top quality mount. There are no groves or unfinished areas on the mount that would attract moisture and rust. It comes with a great instruction manual with links to videos that are very helpful. I just scanned the link with my iPhone camera and watched the video. There is also a link that helps with proper placement of the mount. I highly recommend watching the video before starting the installation of the mount. It also comes with a cardboard template for installation. There is a toll free number if you need help. We didn’t need to call but I felt better knowing it was on option. I love this full motion mount and it was so quick and easy to install. It is very sturdy and I feel confident my TV is not going to fall. I love that I can direct my TV for viewing from anywhere in our outdoor entertainment area.

I’ve always wanted to mount my TV (55in) but thought it would be too difficult; But that’s what friends are for! Sanus was also gracious enough to include a mounting template which makes the process quite painless as well. I will say, I was very worried about how durable this would be for outdoor use as we get extreme temperatures (especially heat) where I live. Time will tell ultimately how it does, but the build quality is apparent and impressive nonetheless. The TV mount feels substantial and premium, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from Sanus. I also love how there’s so many different angles and positions you can have the TV directed at. We have a large outdoor patio and this allowed us to put it in a central location and no matter if you’re sitting center at the dining area or off to one of the sides grilling or gardening, you can have the best picture in the house. It also has the ability to surprisingly close to the wall - I wouldn’t say flush but it’s certainly not bad, all things considered. Another home run from Sanus!

This Sanus - Premium Outdoor Full-Motion Mount for TVs 40"-85" is very heavy duty, and can hold up to 120 pounds. This mount was also very well packaged and all materials are organized perfectly in the box. On another note it is very expensive too, but well worth it for those cozy nights on the deck watching Netflix with the family. I have always wanted an outdoor TV Mount ever since I saw them one day dining outside at Applebees! I actually never knew they existed. The box is quite heavy and you definitely need two people to mount this onto the wall. We currently have a 55 inch TV mounted and it works perfectly. The mount is full motion as described so we can adjust as needed. The design on this is very durable, very well made and installation was fairly easy with following the instructions step by step. I also really like the option that we can add a lock to prevent theft, we did not but we have that as a option for the future if we ever wanted/needed it! All my TV mounts are from Sanus but this is my first outdoor mount and it didn’t not disappoint. I 1000% recommend this product !

Pros: • Weatherproof and corrosion resistant. I live in the PNW where it rains constantly for weeks on end, so corrosion and weather-resistant finish on an outdoor mount for my back patio TV is a must. This suits the bill. • Padlockable. We keep our TV out of sight of the neighboring yards and street, but it is good to know that even if some of the local transients or misbehaved teenagers got an idea to break into our yard, this is secured. • Perfect tilting, pivoting, and tilting angles. You ever get that little bit of mid-afternoon glare on your TV outside and wish you could adjust the angle of the TV just a hair? Well, this stand accommodates it. • Practically flush mount when pushed back. I am the kind of person that does not like the TV to be the centerpiece of the décor in an area, so my wife and I both like that this can sit back so flush against the wall under the awning but still be able to easily move it. • Passes the “wife” test, in the sense that she can move it and adjust it with no coaching or help whatsoever. We have a 65” OLED TV mounted up there which is heavy and she can pivot the mount with ease. Cons: • None
