The Sanus Premium Outdoor Large Tilt Mount for TVs is an awesome addition to any outdoor entertainment setup. I recently used this mount to secure my 65" Samsung TV on a wall by the pool, and I gotta say, it totally exceeded my expectations. First off, gotta say, the build quality is absolutely top-notch. The mount is solid and made with tough materials that can handle outdoor elements like a champ. I can trust that my TV is safely mounted and shielded from rain, wind, and whatever Mother Nature throws at it. Installing the mount was a breeze. I used this mount with an 85” Samsung tv. I’m pleased with the setup and look. The stand itself seems to be very well built and handles the weight of my 85” reasonably well. It is mounted above the fireplace on a stone setup. Their documentation really set this mount apart for me. First, I came with a nice wall template. Second, the written instructions were excellent. And thirdly and most important to me - they have an online tool that helped me calculate the exact distance from the floor to the holes on the mount. This was most of the easiest setups I’ve ever done for a tv mount. And that tool is very well done and easy to work with. It was game changer for me, taking a lot of the guesswork out of the installation. Installation was completed within minutes with precision. If there is a downside, I wish the wall bracket was a bit wider to I had the ability to span it across 3 studs, thus giving me more ability to move the tv farther left/right on the bracket. With the way my room is set up, I hard to slide the tv as far right as possible on the wall bracket, and you can see that the bracket is pulling away from the wall / flexing a bit. I thought the lag bolt might be pulling out so I took the tv off the wall, but that wasn’t the case - the bracket is simply flexing a bit. Otherwise; things are perfectly fine with the lint itself. Also noteworthy and something you don’t get with other manufacturers, they provided a lot of bolt sizes, washers and spacers for the brackets that attach to the tv. That’s awesome as on other mounts I found myself at the hardware store buying random bolt lengths to try and find the right size and fits fine. Very good product from Sanus and I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially looking for large tv mounts.

The Sanus Premium Outdoor Tilt TV mount is a heavy duty outdoor tv mount designed to be weatherproof. For the rainy Pacific Northwest where I live, I’m anxious to see how this will hold up though I am hopeful since that is its intended use. Note that it is HIGHLY recommended that you use an outdoor TV. The only motion you have with this mount is the “fingertip” tilt - there is no swivel and no pull-out which means you have to pay more attention to where you place the mount to account for glare and such. This comes with a packet of hardware that includes huge, long bolts & nuts for studs. Also included are concrete anchors should you decide to mount your tv to a concrete wall. There is an included template for simplified installation. I installed mine under the patio cover onto a platform I had made for it which attaches to a big wood beam. If I didn’t do that, it would have been too high and I didn’t want to attach it directly to the house. Once installed, you can still make simple easy adjustments if it’s not quite evenly mounted. For those worried about security when installing a TV outside, you are able to use a padlock with this, you just have to buy your own. Although I don’t see why you couldn’t use this inside if you chose to, but then why buy something that’s weatherproof? This Sanus Premium Outdoor TV mount is a quality tv mount that I would certainly recommend if you are planning to mount an outdoor TV.

The Sanus - Premium Outdoor Tilt Mount for TVs 37"-95" is amazing! It is really easy to setup and it holds my 85" TV with no issues at all. I love the tilt feature, as I have the television positioned in a higher place on the wall for design purposes. The ability to tilt the screen makes it easier to view the screen from any position in the room without making major adjustments to furniture or the TV itself. The Sanus Outdoor tilt mount is built with high quality materials, has a sturdy frame and is durable. Feels like this mount is built to last. The assembly is easy. You will likely need someone to assist you with mounting your television, but once everything is in place it is a solid solution. I love the color and the finish on the assembly. It looks extraordinarily pristine adding a nice touch to the overall design of the outdoor seating area. The assembly comes with everything you need (excluding tools) to finish the installation. Adjusting the mounting bracket is simple and straight forward. Nothing complicated about this mount at all. I highly recommend the Sanus - Premium Outdoor Tilt Mount for TVs 37"-95" for you outdoor seating area. It is the perfect mount to help you add a television to your outdoor area and enhance your outdoor experience.

The SANUS VODTLT1 is a very strong TV mount. It can hold up to 180 pounds. It is made to handle outdoor use. Mine is used in a screen room mounted on a concrete wall. I have a 55 inch outdoor partial sun TV that weighs 67 pounds. This mount is easily able to hold my TV. If you mount onto a concrete wall you are instructed to mount directly to the concrete wall. This was not a problem for me but if you have a sheetrock layer over the concrete wall, you will most likely have lathing strips that the sheetrock mounts to. In this case I’d recommend to be consistent with the directions and remove some of the sheetrock/lathing so the mount will be flat against the concrete. You can mount up to a 95 inch TV per the literature. But just be careful not to exceed the 180 pound limit. This TV mount has a wonderful tilt capability which is a must feature I feel when you are wall-mounting. This tilt ability allows you an easier time to make connections and also to ensure you can adjust to the optimal viewing angle. The SANUS website has some excellent videos that are useful to view that show the installation steps and also show how to adjust to ensure the correct height of the TV on the wall and the right viewing angle. The manual also is excellent and I noticed SANUS has help-phone support if needed, 7 days a week. SANUS even has an interactive ‘Height Finder’ on its website for how to position your TV. On the SANUS website you can also enter your TV model and get a response as to the mount needed and as well as the height to install the TV – neat. I was very impressed with product quality and also the SANUS website and their well written hardcopy manuals, tip of the cap to the SANUS engineers and publications folks. I used the Height Finder and it is fantastic. It even lets you use your mouse to move the TV up and down on a test image to get your placement just right. I’ve never seen these support features with any other TV mount that I have used. This TV comes with stainless steel hardware to ensure a hardy outdoor shield against rust. A 10 inch long hex key is provided to facilitate the install – very handy. You are provided a wide selection of screws for the VESA mount. When the TV is installed, you will feel it when the bottom brackets lock into place. It is easy to remove the TV, you pull down on straps that move the bottom locks free of the wall mount portion. These on-board straps provide a very simple process to remove the TV without any tools. I have had to temporarily remove the TV and this mount to repaint the wall, so this removal proved simple. I highly recommend this outdoor TV wall mount. I feel very confident in the strength of this mount to easily hold my TV in place. The design is well-thought-out, the product is of top notch quality, the installation is easy and SANUS provides clear documentation.

When we redid our backyard patio, I told my wife that I wanted to hang at least a 55" TV in the backyard. I wanted to use only materials and cables that were designated for outdoor usage, and when it came to hanging a TV, I figured I wouldn't try to scrimp on the wall mount. I also specifically didn't want a mount with an arm. Texas wind can be a bit rough during storm season and I could just imagine a mount with an arm dropping the TV on the concrete. I also knew I wanted a mount that could tilt / pivot since it would end up being up higher on the wall than eye level. So I picked this up, and had the crew redoing our backyard install it. The installation was a breeze, and they hung the TV without an issue. It's been up for a little bit now and it appears to be holding the TV up just fine. The mount itself feels a bit thicker and sturdier than some of the more inexpensive mounts that are not cleared for outdoor usage. It's nice to not have to worry about the TV falling off. A solid mount from a known TV accessory brand bought me solid piece of mind... and a wall mounted 55" TV just over my grill!

I generally buy the cheapest stand with the best reviews but for my outdoor TV, the last thing I need is a rusty stand after one season. I, like many others, set up my outdoors for hosting with a boatload more entertainment post-pandemic using all the lessons we learned about deck parties. First thing when you open the box, you see a nice, sturdy template. It has perforations in the middle to pull out the instructions, which have a QR code to a YouTube video of the instructions. I’ve mounted plenty of TVs so this wasn’t needed for me. There is also a QR code with a link to a height finder (they’ve trademarked it) that shows you where to drill if you want to get your TV heigh just right. I usually do a bunch of convoluted geometry and fall within an inch or two. The rest of the template has oval slits matching the bracket where the lag bolts will go through. This makes it really easy to mark out where you are going to drill *ahem* searching for studs. Outside of it being waterproof, it’s a standard TV mount. It doesn’t swivel but that’s preferable to me because my friends have kids and I don’t need my setup to be a jungle gym. Now, I have to make enough money to spring for an outdoor TV…just kidding. I can replace a this TV five times and it will still be cheaper than an outdoor TV :)

This mount is very well made and I have no doubt that it will hold up perfectly in wet or overly-sunny weather. The build quality is heavy duty and the materials are solid. I don't expect this to rust away anytime soon. Obviously you need to make sure your TV can brave the outdoor elements and they do manufacture some that actually do. For those few, this is the only mounting system I would use. The ease of setup was very surprising. Once drilled into your stud (or equivalent anchoring) you just screw the two support arms on to the back of the TV and clip the TV onto the mount and that all! Setup was literally 15 min from unboxing to completion. You will likely need two people depending on the size of your TV and it's really just safer that way as well. You have a small amount of viewing adjustment as you can only adjust the tilt. Having a swinging arm would allow for a lot more motion and adjustment but would strain the mount for the intended TV size use. Highly recommend this mount for anyone looking for a great outdoor mounting solution.

I love this tv mount. I sometimes prefer to buy outdoor hardware as it is made a little sturdier in my opinion, and this television mount is no exception. I have a big heavy plasma television still and I was worried thst I wouldn't be able to find a mount strong enough to support it. Today's LCD TV's are so light that the quality of mounts seem to be lower and lower. Opening the box and you find the wall plate, tv brackets, a template, assorted screws, washers, and anchors for various installation methods. Installation was a breeze. I installed on a drywall wall using a stud finder to locate the studs. I drilled pilot holes and lag screws to attach the frame to the wall. I attached the brackets to the back of the tv and set it on the frame. I clicked it into place but did not use the locking feature. It comes with a hex key for leveling which was really helpful. It was really that simple. All in all, I couldn't be more happy. This thing holds the weight if my big plasma tv like a champ. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

TV mounts are a dime a dozen, but Sanus has always been my go to TV mount for their reliability. With more people mounting TVs outdoors I jumped on the trend as well for our patio space and this mount fits perfectly for what I needed in an outdoor mount for the TV. First, right out of the box you can tell the build quality is top notch, as with all Sanus mounts. Everything appeared very sturdy so I went ahead with measuring my wall and getting it mounted. Installation was a breeze as the template and all the hardware you need is included. The "Pro-Set" feature was extremely nice as it allows for easy leveling and height adjustment so your measurements don`t have to be exactly perfect when mounting the wall plate. All in all, the installation only took 10 minutes from start to finish. After getting the wall plate affixed and the TV on the wall it was amazing how easy it was to make adjustments to the tilt of the TV to reduce the glare. I had my hesitancies as I imagined the slim profile aspect of the mount wouldn`t allow much tilt, but I was pleasantly surprised. The other feature I do have to mention is the ability to add a padlock for extra security as with the TV being in an outside environment I had my hesitancies, but this definitely brings a much needed piece of mind. Overall, I would definitely recommend this mount for those looking to mount a TV both in an outdoor environment or even indoors as well. Installation was a breeze and I don`t have any concerns that the mount will fail to hold the 85 inch TV I currently have mounted. The ability to easily tweak the leveling and tilt along with the ability to add a padlock are the key features that set this mount apart from others, along with the superior Sanus build quality.

From the way the mount fits flush to the tilting mechanism to the feel of the metal, you can just tell that this is a built-to-last product. So let's cut into it! Installation ====================== Just like every other tv wall mount, this required me to place it into the studs and the typical workup for a tv wall mount (I have done it so many times it isn’t even a headache, it is just routine). What I can say is that this was extremely flush and well-made. All the hardware that came with it was treated metal to prevent corrosion and at no point did I look at it with the “well i hope it holds…” thought at all as I knew the mount was high-end. It came with a large hex key and a very well-made adjustment mechanism to help install and move bolts as well as easily adjust the tilt which was an amazing find as I usually tear my fingers up moving bolts to adjust the tilt… I was just blown away by how Sanus took the usual headaches and made them an afterthought. This mount easily held my 90lb tv while also allowing me to adjust the tilt with my fingers and minimal effort… it was so easy even my Fiancé was inclined to adjust it (I did it wrong) easily on her own! I also enjoyed that I could padlock my tv so that someone couldn't steal it from my backyard which is a super nice feature and it is well hidden. Overall I really enjoyed this wall mount and found it to be easy from installation to day-to-day life. As always, BestBuy has excellent customer service and return policy, so you never have to worry about buying a product that you don’t like… so why not test it out?!

Sanus is well-known for their AV equipment and LeGrand is their parent company who is a leader in the commercial/prosumer space for AV building supplies as well. I've used Sanus for my Sonos products and they are excellent and I've also used LeGrand for both work and home to mount TVs, hide punch throughs and that kind of thing. The Sanus Premium Outdoor Large Tilt mount is exactly what you'd expect from Sanus. Extremely high quality powder-coated steel, excellent packaging and documentation, and all the hardware and little things to ensure your install is successful. This mount is weatherproof, which will help it survive without rusting or corrosion when placed outdoors, but you will still want to use under partial cover, like a back porch awning, Tiki Bar, Garage, screened sunroom etc. Your TV will probably dictate how much weather you'll be able to expose this mount to and anything a TV can handle, this mount will handle easily. The kit comes with an excellent punch-out guide, clear and detailed instructions and even an app that will assist you in determining mounting height. I've mounted all of my own TVs and even some for work, so this is easy work for me. I typically aim for 40" to the bottom of the TV, but I did mount my back patio TV a little higher to avoid possible incidental contact and to keep it out of reach of the kids. Its hanging at 60" from the bottom so the tilt feature really helps. The lag screws are super heavy duty, so make sure to read the instructions and pre-drill into a stud. Speaking of which, the adjustment knobs on the Virtual Axis Fingerprint tilt make it a cinch to adjust the tilt, which really makes this product stand out over cheaper units. Its a lot harder to make these adjustments when you have to tighten with a bolt on 2 different mounting arms. But with this premium tilt mechanism you just push or pull with your fingers and you can adjust tilt easily. Even with all the adjustments, the whole mount and arms are only a little over 2" off the wall, meaning you get a really clean and slim profile against the wall. Excellent Wall TV mount that is well worth it to protect your expensive outdoor TV.

The Sanus Premium Outdoor Large Tilt Mount does well. This product is designed for outdoor use, providing a sense of security for outdoor needs. The mount itself is designed with anti-corrosion coating and stainless steel, hopefully keeping up to the elements for years to come. And one may add a padlock to the mount to avoid theft. From opening the box to TV on the wall the whole process took less than 20-minutes. There are two arms that attach to the back of the TV. They have an angle adjustment knob that does matter which side you place them on so just keep that in mind. The traditional mounting equipment is in box including spacers and multiple screw sizes. Once placed on the back of the TV comes placing the mount on the wall. There is a paper outline device included if one wishes to use this; and a QR code for a VR application to see how high up one should place the mount. I tried the application quickly just to see, but got inpatient and went ahead and continued without using it. I chose to not use the outline device. There are mounting screws that work for masonary and wood just not steel included in the box. Attaching the mount to the wall was quick (with the assistance of an impact driver) and then placing the TV on the mount is as simple as angling onto the top bar and snapping in the bottom. Placed a 65" TV without issue. The TV comes out about 2.5" from the wall and is able to be easily angled up and down. There is no right/left tilt to the mount. If happened to not be completely level there is an allen-key adjustment that helps to fix this - with the longest allen-key I have seen included in the box. Overall, this mount allows for quickly mounting a TV to an outdoor space. My wife is happy with the appearance which means everyone wins!

So I received my Sanus Outdoor Premium TV Wall Mount a week ago and was able to find some time over the weekend to install it. We have a nice covered outdoor patio/deck area at the back of our condo that was the perfect spot for this mount. Surprisingly packed very well, the box is fairly light considering what its job is to do. As you start to unbox, you'll find the following inside: * Instruction Manual * Wall Plate Template * Wall Plate * Left & Right TV Brackets * Hex Key * Mounting Hardware - TV Screws - Washers - Spacers - Lag Bolts - Anchors (for concrete installation) Now, having a 65-inch TV, I made sure to grab a buddy to assist in installing. The installation took about 45 minutes from start to finish, with me double checking and making sure I wasn't skipping anything as this was my first wall mount. It was fairly easy and not nearly as difficult as some may think. Sanus made sure that all parts were included in the package. After getting the TV securely mounted, there is a slot where you can add a lock to the TV Bracket to deter any would-be thief from pulling a snatch-and-grab. The lock is not included, but you can pick one up from just about anywhere. In terms of sturdiness, it's solid. According to Sanus, you can use this mount for TV's measuring between 37" and 95" and up to 180 pounds. Although it has a nice tilt feature, for right now were probably gonna leave it in the spot we have it to keep the sun from reflecting off some, plus its in a perfect viewing location no matter where we're sitting on the patio.

We love Sanus mounts and this model is no exception. Easy to install and very sturdy. Installation instructions were very thorough and helpful – that is one of my peeves on a lot of products. Our home is located at the site of a former gravel pit and we were very worried about the fish bowl wind effect. We even had a plan to remove the TV when not being used if it looked like the wind would pull the TV from the wall. Luckily, with all of the adjustments and positioning with this mount it wasn’t an issue. The height adjustment feature was a big help. We ended up placing it about 9” higher than we planned and it works great. You can also add a lock (not included) for extra security. The mount holds up to 180 lbs. I cannot imagine a current TV coming close to that weight. Lifting a 180lb. TV wouldn’t be easy. It rained a little this past week and the weatherproof finish seems like it will hold up to weather. We live in MN so we will remove the TV and probably cover the mount just to be safe in the winter. The included hex key was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

The Sanus Premium Oudoor Large tilt television mount is very heavy duty and sturdy! My husband and I were able to put it together with ease using the directions that cane with it. The directions were clear and straught forward allowing us to install it in a timely manner without any frustration. I love that it is weatherproof because we are able to keep it under our back deck in our back yard to enjoy all the games while we are BBQing are relaxing outside. I love that it has the tilt option because I can tilt it to prevent any glaring from the outdoor lighting. It is very easy to tilt and adjust to prevent glaring. Its slim form allows our tv to sit almoat flush against the wall its installed out which is something that i wanted. I love how it does buldge out and doesnt look bulky or get in our way. We currenlty have our 55 inch Hisense installed on it but we plan to upgrade to the full potential that this can hold which is a 95 inch screen. Overall we love the Sanus tilt mount for its convenience outdoors, its steardiness, and tilt abilities to prevent outdoor glaring.
