The mount allows up/down tilt. It also pulls away from the wall and since each side moves independantly, you and pull one side out away from wall and leave the other close which filts the screen left/right. It is basically like a full motion mount. It also has adjustments you can make after install to level the TV. You use a provided allen wrench and turn some screws on the mounting brackets to raise/lower the TV to make it level. More work than just spinning by hand, but this also costs less than their full motion+ so it is a trade off.

I am glad I decided to go with the advanced tilt wall mount for the 65" TV I purchased. It frees up the space on the console for the sound board and the TV is much more secure.

Bought this mount for a 58” Samsung tv. It was reasonably easy to install and the scissor action adjustment greatly helps for attaching cable connections.

Install was easy, use Best Buy.com for instructions as needed if you never mount a TV on a wall. Many fasteners included, carefully follow wall bracket mounting installation recommendations. Then using a two-person, lift TV, slightly angle top towards the wall, hook on the bracket, Swing bottom towards the wall and snap-in. Grabbing each end of TV pull away from the wall (look behind TV making sure bottom of the bracket is hooks are snapped-in securely), angle as needed attached power and device cables. Adjust tilt as needed.

We have a 65 inch tv and this wall mount was perfect for what we wanted, it adjusted to just the right angle we needed it to, and it was easy to install

This item was purchased for a 65" TV. The scissoring arms make this great so that you can slightly I just the screen side to side and then pitch it up-and-down.

I’m impressed with the versatility of this mount. It was simple to install and secure my new 75 inch TV with ease. Can’t wait for football to start.

It was one of the easiest mounts I've used..The nice feature is being able to pull the TV away from the wall easily..it shows u to put the wire in easily

I was planning on buying a different brand but was talked into this by a bestbuy staff member. I can't speak for side by side comparisons since this is my first wall mount and also the first time I've installed one but I'm very happy with it. I took my time, read the very clear directions a few times to make sure I didn't mess anything up, and an hour or so later had a mounted tv. Once the tv is up, making changes to it's horizontal location is as easy as sliding the tv left or right. Also, if you accidentally mount the mount slightly crooked, there are leveling screws built in so you don't have to put more holes in your wall.

Item worked well in our bedroom getting the TV at the right height. It also allows tilting the TV down a bit for optimum viewing while lounging in bed.

Amazing mount. Easy to install and very sturdy. I have an 82” tv on it and it works so well. Would definitely recommend.

I chose to buy this wall mount over other ones for two reasons. The first reason is because it wasn't too expensive but wasn't a cheaply made wall mount either. The second reason is because of the feature where you can pull the tv out from the wall. When the tv is back against the wall, you can't see where the hdmi ports or any other cable ports are let alone have the space to get your hand behind the tv to plug cables in. But with this wall mount, being able to pull the tv away from the wall makes plugging in cables super easy

By far the best tv wall mount. Super easy to install and durable. It holds my 55in up so well. I don’t worry about it falling.

The Sanus Tilt Wall Mount is a perfect way to mount a TV on a wall. I don't need all the bells and whistles provided by much more expensive wall mounts. As long as you need the mount to moves away from the wall to gain access to cable connections you should be fine.

Easy to mount. Everything you need in the box except impact and stud finder. The up/down and left/right tilt is enough. No need to buy the extended arm mount.

The TV wall mount works exactly like it should. It was pretty easy to mount on the wall, and the tilt works just like it should.
